Been gone for awhile from this website as work has gotten really busy.  70s, I didn't get the BMW.  I got a M-B E320.  Flys.

Did you drive the E500 at all?  The partner I worked for had an E55 AMG (I think it's E62 or E63 now).  I always had to drive it to the dealership for him when I was a rookie.  I almost died once because I was doing 110 on the interstate and it felt like I was going 50.  When I realized I almost soiled myself.  Those cars are so smooth.

those AMG's are slick.  Didn't drive the E500 ---- This E320 just kinda showed up in my lap.  I wasn't really even considering the MB's at all.

You can be honest.  It's not work that's kept you away.  We all know that you've been mourning the loss of Big Butter Jesus and haven't had the strength to get out much.  Don't you worry though.  They'll bring him back to life and restore order to this topsy-turvy world!

.......donations are currently being accepted.  I find it extremely ironic that the Hustler Superstore, across the highway from Big Butter Jesus, was unscathed.

I've always had a bigger issue with the Trader's World horse that gives everyone a great view of his anatomically correct underside on that stretch of highway.  It's a real bright spot for the state.

There is a Horse statue like that just East of Alliance (in Sebring, OH I think).  It is on a road that buses pass on the way to an Elementary School.  Must provide some interesting discussions.

JK will probably know the statue/school.

Former ONU kicker JR Cipra just wrapped up a perfect regular season as the kicker for the Baltimore Mariners of the AIFA.  The Mariners play in the first round of the playoffs July 10 after going 14-0 on the regular season including a Week 12 win in which Cipra connected on a 47 yarder to win as time expired.

He's carved out a pretty solid kicking career for a number of indoor football teams and leagues.  As far as I can recall, he's had a job every year kicking since he graduated from ONU including stops with the Canton Legends, Erie Freeze and Erie River Rats prior to joining the Mariners.

Is this a first for a team in the 10-team OAC to play their non-conf game after OAC play has officially begun?

I went back a few years and could not find an OAC playing a non-conference team later in the season. More research is required to answer your question!

In my never ending quest to be helpful,  8-) I can tell you that my freshman year we played Westminister the last game of the year. So....somewhere between 1966 and 2010.
Same as it ever was...same as it ever was...same as it ever was...

HScoach,

Is it right before the season begins that we see some predictions for the OAC? I thought it was late July, but I am not sure. :-\

Wow.  You have a good memory and might have been the only person reading them.  It was usually mid-summer, but I'm probably not writing them this year.  Too busy.  Life is getting in the way of my fun >:(

So does this mean no more hangin with Rosey Palmer in the name of self-pleasurization?

I've moved on from Rosie.  She's calloused and rough.  LouLou is more my style these days........
I find easily offended people rather offensive!

Statistics are like bikinis; what they reveal is interesting, what they hide is essential.

So in your attempt at being helpful you chose to answer my question about a 10-team OAC schedule by telling me your freshman year you played Westminster in an end of season matchup in a 14 team OAC?  Thanks seventies!

Research update: 1990 was the first year for the OAC to have 10 teams. Hiram was part of that group, but was later replaced by Wilmington. So far of the 10 schools 2 of them, Mount and B-W did not play a non-conference team after OAC play began. We will see about the balance!
