JK... I'm living in Fort Wright, KY now... and working from the house.  If you ever want to do lunch, let me know.  BTW --- Dee said "so you've never met Jon Kovach before "in person"??"  I told her no, but also explained how we roll on here.

My wife doesn't quite understand the whole post patterns thing either, does she, "My Little Internet Friends"?

"My Little Internet Friends"?

They are defined on this board as being:

- OAC alums
- former players
- D3 football fans
- many others who have an opinion
- those who just want to talk football and most anything else

Does that help! :)

reality check

Since you guys are all strategizing about extra years you might as well at least get the term right.  "Redshirting" is frowned upon in D-III.  If they have a season lost to injury, the term is "medical hardship waiver".

I am in the middle of writing the SCIAC previews for D3 Kickoff 2010 (YOU ALL NEED TO BUY IT BTW) and Redlands has their very own Rocky Pentello.  Dan Selway-Pentello will be a 6th year senior after two medical hardship waivers, most recently a foot injury at the end of game 2 in 2008 that cost him the rest of that season.  He's a solid player and could end up as an All-American after a 29 TD/12 INT season and 2550 yards in nine games last year.

OK, dry run "home opener", Mount JV vs Waynesburg on Sept 4th at 1:00 in THE stadium. Dust off those purple seat cushions, blankets and Carhartts (It's Ohio, could be shorts, could be parka's. S/B able to try sitting in some different seats for a change.

I have one of my track kids playing DB for Waynesburg this year

Back to the QB thing......I have "heard" (again..not from usual impeccable source) that Moses has outperformed Seaman this summer.  Now I don't know how that would be judged, but that's what the mumbling on the street says.   8-)

I would consider my disclaimer and use this as wild speculative chatter material for fun and enjoyment only.

Suit - has the RB from Benedictine been spending the summer around Alliance?  I am very interested in seeing what that young man can do.

Anthony Urbania.  He was a freshman last year.

HScoach

Urbania was injured last year.  He put up big HS numbers and it will be interesting to see where (and if) he fits into the RB rotation at some point.

I don't know if we have a real stud RB on the roster, but MUC won't be lacking for options at the position.  They could go about 8-10 deep if needed.
I find easily offended people rather offensive!

Statistics are like bikinis; what they reveal is interesting, what they hide is essential.

Hey, those of us who have been "shocked and awed" by The Machine assumed you ALWAYS had a Kmic on the bench, if necessary!  Are you trying to blow my mind?! :o  Pretend that you are actually human? ;)

Don't you store QBs and RBs is little glass cases on campus, with a sign reading "In case of emergency, break glass"? ;D
