Urbania was injured last year.  He put up big HS numbers and it will be interesting to see where (and if) he fits into the RB rotation at some point.

I don't know if we have a real stud RB on the roster, but MUC won't be lacking for options at the position.  They could go about 8-10 deep if needed.

Hey, those of us who have been "shocked and awed" by The Machine assumed you ALWAYS had a Kmic on the bench, if necessary!  Are you trying to blow my mind?! :o  Pretend that you are actually human? ;)

Don't you store QBs and RBs is little glass cases on campus, with a sign reading "In case of emergency, break glass"? ;D

and O-lineman, D-lineman, WRs, National Championship trophies, Gaglardi Trophies, etc, etc, etc, etc...  ;)

It's a shame that Wilma/MUC matchup we talked about recently was not in Alliance.  They wouldn't have had to scavenge the campus looking for a sacrificial lamb at QB if they could have come to Mount and broken the glass case for their own use.

Do it like little league.  One team shows up with 8 players and the other team has 10 or 11.  The team with more players would loan their right fielder to the team with 8.

Mount has plenty of their own uniforms, maybe they should have a few of the opposing teams on hand , just in case! ;D ;D

What HSCoach said!  Urbania had an emergency appendectomy (is that spelling correct?), and missed last year.  This was after getting hurt at the end of his junior year in high school (when he was being recruited hard by ND).  I have heard the kid is a stud, and quite honestly I would love to see it.

Hey...I am not throwing anyone under the bus.......Seaman/Pilates/Pilato/Pontius Pilate.....if they are the man....fantastic.  I was a huge Rocco detractor after watching him early in the year, and previous years.  That young man stepped up and played great when it counted.  Who/whatever works is all good.

By the way......Jr. (remember he is a freshman in high school) has decided that after scoring multiple touchdowns in a 7 on 7 passing scrimmage that Mt. is "too close" to home to go there.  I told him he better get 1000% better and bigger before he would/could ever make that decision.  Mt. would make it for him.  I also told him the good news was........Hiram and Wilmington have already made contact.  They want him bad!   ;D

Guys - just want to clarify I'm not throwing Seaman under the bus at all. My earlier comments were just an opinion from what I saw from him last year, and what I have heard about the two new guys. I wouldn't be the least bit surprised in Seaman came in and won the job outright in camp.

Either way, it is a nice problem to have 3 potential starters this young battling it out for PT.

I'm just picturing LK in his giant office a month from now, feet up on the desk thinking "Which future All-American QB should I play?" as he cackles.   ;D  Great problem to have as you said, pradierguy.

I'm excited to see Urbania.  I hope he is healthy.

After the W & J scrimmage, Coach Kehres will have a good indication who is number 1 and 2  on his  season opening depth chart for most all positions including QB! :)

I am curious who will be the the 1 and 2 RB's, Panchik, Lemmon, Harris or someone else? :-\

this happened the other day in my softball league... the owner of the park was giving a few of us beers the entire evening and after a break in between games (we played at 6:10 and then 9:30---so you know we did some damage to our livers), we had two guys would couldn't even talk (lightweights).  We had to borrow a dude in jean shorts from the stands and some raTARD (Hangover reference) the other team who liked to fly out to the dirt spot and couldn't catch a softball if you rolled it to him.

Hopefully you've learned your lesson.  Much cheaper to say "I don't" before than "I quit" after.

I'm pissed.  I told you at the time that I'd only agree to play if no one found out that I came out of retirement.  You're dead to me.

You broke a general rule of life: Don't ever pick a guy in jorts for anything; especially athletics.

That life rule sits on the list at number 14.

That's between 13: Nothing good can come from answering honestly, "Does this make me look fat?"

and 14: No woman will ever appreciate Will Ferrell as much as we do.

Well done, RC!

The only socially-acceptable applications for jorts is the following:

--Country-Concert held in Fort Loramie, Ohio during July

I did leave out an important sidenote regarding jorts.  That rule applies to men only.  If you see a woman wearing jean shorts, it is perfectly acceptable and in fact encouraged to ask her to participate in whatever activity you're involved with as long as the length of her jorts is shorter than the distance from your own outstretched thumb to pinky.  (Using this measuring system in close proximity to the jorts being tested is also recommended.)

we had to pick him... since its a girls game (they still pitch underhand), we decided to go with it.

and I dated a girl I was working with about 3 years ago who looked pretty good in the aforementioned shorts (with the thumb to pinky measurement).... she actually played on our co-ed team.... and was the catcher in those shorts.  The umpire was mesmerized and we got a bunch of the calls.  I'll send you a picture -- as there is one on Facebook of it (I already hear 70s switching internet pages over to my profile :) )
