Todd Murgatroyd has been named offensive line coach/recruiting coordinator at Wilmington College

Seventies,

Boy you have been converted in other ways in addition to your wallet! ;D

That link has been laying at the bottom of my signature for months. I got bored and figured out how to make it work today. Addressing the allegation that I pick on every other school.

I'll provide some details: Yes, ONU has a chance to beat Mount Union this year even with the game in Alliance.

Keep in mind two important facts:

1.) ONU has won more games in Alliance than Ada versus the Purple Raiders the last twenty years.

2.) ONU has never lost to the University of Mount Union.

MOL Champs: 1952, 1950

3.) ONU returns first team QB and Running back, both seniors.

ONU quarterbacks never seem to play well against Mount Union. To come into  Larry Kehres Stadium with a couple All-OAC guys in the backfield is the kind of thing likely to fire up the Raider D.  I see their QB going down hard and often. This is going to be a great game. Which young  Purple QB will play ? Both. I do not envy the ONU D-Coordinator trying to cover this group of receivers. How does one deal with a 6'6" tight end that can really catch and run?  One of the best things about being an MUC fan is watching LK and his staff adapt to their talent and seeing the new young guns emerge.  My Louisville buddies have me fired up to see Seaman play. I admire the kid pulling on that No. 7 jersey worn by the legendary (moment of silent reflection) The Great Bill Borchert.

That DOES seem to be the 'returning veteran' that matters - the rest is just details. ::)

The rest of us MAY get a chance once he retires.

The interesting matchup in that game will be the ONU offensive line against the MUC defensive line.  Both took major hits do to graduation.

The suspense for the next week will be who does Coach Kehres vote for to win the OAC?

Marietta announces the renovation of Don Drumm Stadium. Maybe they should move it above the Ohio River flood plain

It all depends on whether or not he heard Dominic Jones is an Otter.  I can picture LK sitting there in his office, sweating bullets about what's going on on Westerville.

The team, the coach, and the Mount community has a basic disdain for all things OTT.  I personally believe that OTT lacks the cajones to really rise up and play the type of game needed to beat Mount.  ONU, and Capital have proven at various times that they could/can rise to the challenge.

Dominic Jones or no, OTT has a lot to prove.

So the new Mount chant.....UUUUUUUUUMMMMMMMUUUUUUU.......UUUUUUMMMMMUUUUU!  Hmmm...that just is SO not good.   ;D

And the ONE thing they didn't rename was that God awful - Run-A-MUC Homecoming 5K race.

75 bucks

What is the word on ONU non-conference game? I know all of those Wisconsin schools are competitive.

The question has to be is their QB going to be better than anyone Mount starts? Is their RB going to be better than anyone mount starts? Is this the year ONU does it again?

75 bucks

Also.....does BW's transfer QB put them back on top?

Again, one player does not make a team have a great year. B-W needs quite a bit to rank up there in the top group of the OAC. They needed to have a new HC, but that did not happen. If they are 5-5 this year, that would be a good year for them! :-\
