Of course I'm 62 and most everything is the back of my mind

I'm 68 and most everything that was in the back of my mind is now in my belly...a protrusion to look forward to, seventies!!  ;)

I went from barrel chested to barrel bellied

LOL me too, +K.

Just transferred funds to Heidelberg. Hard to think that early on it took two or three years to make that much money. I can truly claim BergDad now.

We have been done with tuition for some time now, but I would have rather paid for Heidelberg, than what we paid for Pepperdine! If that helps! :)

I'm in the 5th year of a 5 year Physician Assistant program for twin daughters at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh Pa. They will get their masters when they graduate and I will get the bill for 425 Gs for their education.

Already paid for my son to get an engineering degree from Dayton. I'm very proud of my kids and paying for their education is just part of being a parent.

Could not agree more!

Great Parents, you should be proud of your children and yourselves! +k  :)

What does the Mount WR depth look like? Can someone of knowledge list the top 6-7 guys along with their class year?

Also - a while back I posted about a somewhat local kid who was thinking of heading to Alliance as a QB, but took a ride to a MAC school as a LB, so we missed out  >:(

I would add Jasper Collins to the WR depth chart, perhaps above Mathie...Collins looked pretty good in limited action last year, especially in the return game

Mathie and Collins are both sophomores. Behind Miller at TE, there are two sophomores and a junior. The sophomore Pirtle fits the mold of recent TEs
at 6' 4" 220. No doubt there is a top receiver coming in as a freshman! :)

I still try to repay my parents for my education and they still won't let me. I guess I'll understand once I have kids. Your children are lucky to have you (and Raider68 and oldscot)

Hello Gang!

Football is coming...football is coming!

Jr. has a "spiral fracture" on his left ring finger down below the last knuckle, and will be "with cast" for at least 2 1/2 weeks.  He is still doing all the non-contact stuff at two-a-days, but is really bummed about not being able to hit.  I told him that he is a freshman in high school...take a deep breath!   :D

This could turn out to be one of the most interesting years for Mount in a while.  I think it will be fun to see how the WB, RB, and DL shape up by game #1.  Anyone planning on a trip to Osh Kosh (I am not)?

When do the new uni's, helmets, and logos come now that Mount is the "U"?

raiderpa

the word college has never been a part of the mount union football uniform except when they had an MUC logo on helmets years ago, so the uniforms should not be affected.  The new logo is visible on the current college web site that has not been changed over completely  yet...it really isnt bad

This the first of at least eight consecutive years of paying out college tuition. If the stock market doesn't go up soon I'll be asking "You want fries with that?"
