Does anyone know what Ohio Northern brings back this year?  UW-River Falls plays them on Thursday.  Should be interesting!  UW-RF should have an explosive offense but a very young defense.

As mentioned before ONU returns several members of their '09 team including QB Simmons, an all-OAC 1st team from last year. They have only a few spots to fill otherwise they return several starters and this could be one if not their best teams in the past few years. They have always challenged for the top spot and beat Mount Union in 2005 during the regular season. You can also check their Official site and are rated #11 in D3's pre-season poll.

If he can, Reality Check, former player, alum and a current coach knows ONU "by far" the best and is a major poster here. He can answer your questions with more specifics and credibility! :)

That people who know the WIAC, pick River Falls to dwell at the bottom of the conference this year and have a poor defense, says to me, Kyle Simmons will have a field day. P-Bears by many

If you appreciate Lenny's work at Mount (or Capital) and his friendship as much as I do, support his cause:

The interesting thing to me is that FL has separated itself from PA a little bit.  Years ago PA was the 2nd biggest source of talent for MUC.  Even when FL came into the picture it took several years to catch up to PA.  Then a couple years of being around equal.  Now FL seems to have clearly passed PA.  Certainly a product of the increased efforts down south.
Thanks, Doc, for posting geographic distribution stats.

Rather than edit, you can create a new poll over the top of the other one.

Seventies,

Your poll question should also included whether your insurance runs out before your next operation! ;D ;D

Seriously, I hope you feel fine and do not have to worry about insurance!

I'm just glad that your your not voting for me to have a LABOTOMY, not quite sure what the other is. No surgery for a while, my new insurance hasn't kicked in yet.

I'm hoping to get over to Alliance tomorrow. Last time I said that, I had to substitute the next day.

Please provide your take on the Raider practice! :)

Guys,

Please don't forget that ONU opens on Thursday, so all picks need posted before then.

After the Wednesday scrimmage with W & J, will the Raiders have the starting QB and will it be Neal Seaman? :-\

Hey, who can tell me about Heidelberg. They come here to open the season and I want to know what they'll be coming with.

I just picked up my fantasy football mag. and they listed Garcon as the 28th best WR.  I know his surrounding cast is really good but they had M. Crabtree, Braylon Edwards, TO and Jeromy Maclin all listed below him.

Anyone word on how Cap looked in their scrimmage Sat. vs Malone?

just your typical D3 travel party, I assume.  A couple buses... probably one for offense and one for defense.  most of the parents should actually arrive on Saturday instead of staying in beautiful Alma, Michigan on Friday night --- at the roach coach we stayed at in 1998 and 1999.

I'm kidding obviously, welcome to the OAC board... I do know Coach Hallett was with us in 1999 at Thomas More so he's seen the Alma gun offense in person (complete with the splits that are YARDS apart).  They lost their top two RB's offensively, and they'll be hard to replace.  The QB returns, good arm, above average mobility and is a gamer.  They will have a 6'5" WR from Cleveland who can go and get the ball.  Not sure outside of that.  I'm only a fan because of Hallett and his staff.  Great guys --- they'll be well coached and very excited to play.  You'll see alot of enthusiasm and athletic ability.

I wish I could be there, but I still have nightmares about getting my lights put out on that crappy turf they had still in 1999.  It was like playing on concrete.
