The weather could greatly affect HScoach's +38.5 pts spread for OTT. or maybe not! :)

After a ride like that I think it will be tough to have that kinda spread covered...I am just hoping for a win by any amount.

It's not a good situation for travel either way and will make for some cramped quarters.

48 football players on a 48 seat bus is not even funny

I find easily offended people rather offensive!

Sad I just realized that I had not even looked at the schedule yet.  So since it is no long MUC are we using ESPN MTU?

BTW I think it has been two years since I have been on.  Where does the time go.

Otterbein leaves this evening for their 17 hour trip to Bangor,Maine to play Husson Friday day. Travel safely and good luck Cardinals.

No F-ing thanks.  17 hours, damn.  My Jr year at Capital we played Gannon in Erie, PA.  That was only like 6 hours on a bus but was still far too much for me.

Crazy they are heading all the way to Maine. Furthest we went was Defiance. Sad part is, my freshmen year the team actually stayed the night in a hotel. Guess the school wasn't having budget issues then. Wish the best of luck to the guys heading east. Weather should be interesting!!!

Given that Husson  is one of the five teams in their conference that rank in the Bottom 20 teams in DIII, wind and bus rides would not be acceptable excuses for not beating the spot IMHO. This is like playing Wilmingtons JV's.

Welcome back oldmantoo71, your still younger than me

Yep -- if you have that problem, delete cookies and do not set yourself to remain logged in for seven days.

Thanks, Dave & Pat.  I deleted my cookies and got in.

BTW, I was going to note that you only need to delete the D3 Kickoff cookies, not every cookie on the computer which would be a pain if you have a lot of saved passwords

Anyone attend the Raider/W & J scrimmage, if so how did the Raiders look? :)

Guess I would have to agree.

I've been reading the boards a lot this summer, but am back to posting now.  It's been a long, interesting year...birth of our first child (he's a year old today!), home for paternity  leave, being let go from the school ("consider me dehired"), and a move to Charlotte for my wife's new position.  Lots of highs and a few lows.  But, I'm enjoying being at home with the kid, and hope to post a little again this year.

Go MUC!  (old habits die hard)

ps--I'm a page late, but the previous page was my HS graduation year.  I almost posted 18 pages earlier.  Theaprof and I both had important years in 1978...just very different events!

Welcome back JayPeter and I know the "dehired" feeling, but in my case I could wait till Fall and Retired. Still doesn't put me in the classroom except for Sub days. Congrats on the birth. Charlotte is nice but has all the growing pains of Atlanta.

One other little hint:  You must be logged-on to access the "pick-ems".  If you are just looking at the board, under "guest", you can't get to it.
