JCU totals just 38 yards in the first quarter, down to Case Western 14-0.

Musky wins in 2 OT 19-13.  Berg wins 42-23.  Etta wins 28-7.  With ONU, Ott and BW that makes the OAC 6-0 so far.  That'll last until we get a Wilmington final tonight.

So the OAC comes out of today (maybe) 6-2, with the hope in week 1b, the conference adds two more wins with the Raiders and Cap. Great start for the season. Now I am curious when the last time the OAC started off (maybe) 8-2, have to check! :)

Don't forget about JCU who is losing early at Case Western

I figured with Wilmington kicking off an hour before JCU that the Streaks wouldn't have to worry about being the first OAC team to lose this year.   ;D

Plus I was holding out hope that maybe JCU could beat Case.  Doesn't sound like that's going well though...

If Regis survives a season of playing like they did tonight, then he must be blackmailing the Pope

I did it again.  I picked John Carroll and lived to regret it.   :'(

Yeah, I watched some of the STO coverage online and JCU looked bad.  Their offense just looked hapless when I was watching.  I know Tom Arth was amazing, but what we've seen the last few years since he graduated is hard to explain.  Was Arth THAT good that he carried teams with this kind of talent?  Because it seems like they are lacking talent on both sides of the ball.  They never really had a great RB that I remember, but it seemed like they always had at least one big time WR back then.  I don't know, I just don't understand how a good school with good facilities and a parochial pipeline can be that bad.

My brother always raved about how good Arth had to be to survive behind an O-line that Dick referred to as "Five guys nicknamed Tater", perhaps alluding to the beer guts on his linemen. They did historically have a decent collection of skill players, but this year they have Frank Ross and nothing else. I can only say that all the young men that have gone there from around here quickly decided it wasn't worth it.

Kudos to Case for the broadcast, very professional and the Internet feed was smooth without a whole lot of buffering interruptions

Congrats to Reality Check and SeventiesRaider for their performances in Week 1 of the pick-em's.   Very impressive.

Results for Week 1 and Spreads for Week 2 have been posted.
