UMU didn't even play this week and lost 3 First Place Quotes in the D3Football.com Poll.

Not to be picky, but I believe they lost two.

LOL, I can't even subtract anymore.   ::)

Perhaps the voters were confused and looking for Mount Union COLLEGE??

The bus ride was tough, but the Cardinals got a victory, now a week off before and big game vs. ONU.

Wish I could have gone to game, but the kid had fun, so I am very happy for him and the team.

Your son had a great first game. I wasnt able to listen to the game online but my brother (another 'Bein football alum) listened to the whole thing and texted me throughout. With all the distractions that came along with playing in Maine the men were able to go out and execute. HUGE early season game coming up in two weeks. I know Loth and the entire coaching staff will have the guys ready.

By the way, we've reached my HS grad year ('04). Is there anyone out there younger?!?

Thanks Otter. He is still trying to fit in and find his place but the coaches and players have been very accepting.

HUGE game is correct, like a playoff game.

I know they are working hard.

The ONU vs. Ott will be no doubt a big game and it comes so early in the season. It will be interesting to see HScoach's spread! :)

HScoach,

Are the Raiders healthy going into Saturday's game?

For the most part.  Panchik's knee is not cooperating, but that's to be expected.  There are a couple other guys nursing minor issues, but nothing major that will keep them off the field.

It would appear that Zac Lemmon could be the starter at TB on Saturday. He has the size, speed and skills to lead the rushing atttack, but the question is will he?. I hope so! :)

Will be interesting to see if Lattimore gets an opportunity early--I'm told he's pretty fast.

I was wondering the same thing.  He's listed at 5'7", 170.  At that size you can imagine what kind of speed/quickness you would need to get a DI scholarship.  My guess is he can motor.  I'm excited to see him play.

quite a big difference from his older brother Lattimore who played Defensive Line ("place at the table baby---STARTING DEFENSE") for the ESU Timberwolves in The Program... James Caan was a terrible coach, btw..

Congrats on the win.  I really appreciate Otterbein's efforts in keeping the 38-0 score ;)

I find easily offended people rather offensive!

Hmmm, still have a little more research to do, but I've narrowed it down to somewhere in the 0 to 28 point range.

In other words, no one has accepted his bribe yet to make sure they play to .5 points of the spread!

Who will be the other starting WR for the Raiders now that AJ Claycomb will not be available? Will it  be Collins or Mathie or both? :-\

Officially, Brandon Mathie is listed as the starter opposite of Cecil.  Collins is the back-up to Cecil.

Just looked at the 2 deep....man are the Raiders young!  9 sophs starting including 3 of the 4 DL and a couple OL.

Also a little surprised that Peludat is listed as the #2 QB behind Seaman.  Of course, I haven't ever even seen Piloto or Peludat play so I guess I shouldn't really have an expectation on that!

Where did you find the two deep?  I don't see it on the athletics site.
