I thoroughly enjoyed the Titans broadcasters. Personal favorite (after Shorts fair catch  on 3rd quarter punt):

1.  "Electrifying."
2. "Most electrifying man in the game now. Much like The Rock was in the World Wrestling Federation."

  ???

Way to get er done, Raiders. Sleep loose---rest well -- on the way home.  Healing mercies to Kyle and Cam and any banged up others.

I'm loving life.  I don't have a 10+ hour ride home, Mount ended the game on the goal line with a 17 point lead....... ;D

MOUNT UNION   87.2%
OSHKOSH   12.8%

I feel absolutely horrible for all the guys that confidently took Mount.   Especially Mr. Mom ;)
I find easily offended people rather offensive!

Statistics are like bikinis; what they reveal is interesting, what they hide is essential.

After 2 weeks the .5pt difference has been a killer! :(

Can't wait to watch our young defense come up and into their own. We've seen it before.  Thanks to my wise son for reminding me of this!

OK, either Wabash is wayyyyyyy worse than I thought they were or Baldwin Wallace is way better and I watched a half of BDubs against Wooster and they weren't very impressive. Either way, I think the Lil Giants played their way out of the top 25. Wooster did not get that much better in one week.

Maybe BW is better than we were expecting.

Late 3rd quarter:

BW 10

CAPITAL 0

^^^^ 5 turnovers for Cap.  Yikes.  And Assmann must be hurt because some other kid has 15 pass attempts.

OK, I just checked the play by play.  Looks like Assmann was sacked and fumbled mid 3rd qtr. and hasn't played since that play.

Capital goes 99 yds for a TD to pull within 3, but only 2:30 left in the 4th.

yeah, Cap killed themselves with turnovers today.  Marty is hurt and it looks like D'Andrea is as well.  I hope not seriously for either.  This really puts a damper on things, but no reason they can't still do some big things this season.  Statistically they dominated this game, but the only thing that counts is the score and it looks like we are going to be short in this one...

BW gets a first down and runs out the clock.  Final is BW 10 / CAPITAL 7.

A shocker in Berea to start the OAC season.

Cap 22 first downs to BW's 11, Cap 321 yds total offense to BW's 181...

Cap 5 turnovers, BW 1...

Final 10-7 BW over Cap

Win the turnover battle, you usually win the game.  Fine example right here.

Frustrating...

Tough loss, but the good news is the D played great.  BW didn't crack 100 yards in passing or rushing.  And they surrendered 10 points with 5 TO's.  Lotta grit there.

If your BW you're happy to be 2-0 and get a win over Cap, but their offense looks awful from afar (11 first downs, 92 yards rushing, 89 yards passing).  Their QB was 9/22 for 78 yards and a pick.

OK, trying to get used to NCAA geography again where Pennsylvania is South and Iowa is West. And sometimes Alliance Ohio is East. Del Val saved my from a total skunk in pick 'ems

watched the Raiders on the webcast and the guys were indeed funny...and sometimes clueless..but gave it their best
I hope Mount's defense grows up quickly. They gave up a lot of stuff today...was not the defense we are used to seeing, but its early and I am sure will suffer the wrath of both Kehres'
The Oshkosh RB who returned kicks was a good athelete...Seaman definitely looked solid as did TE and #24 out of backfield..

seventiesraider

Did we have two number 12's on the field today? I tend to doubt that Seaman made the four solo tackles they credited him with, Budzinski perhaps?  Perhaps the tackle credited to Lattimore belongs to Reggie Overton?

Tyler Alwardt earned a position in the defense today.

No one stepped up and made a statement that they are the next Moore-Pugh-Kmic. Of course on long trips with limited rosters (read ham sandwiches) it's hard for that one kids to get the V reps to make a statement.

Surprising losses by Linfield and St Johns
