Newbie here. BW will not win any national championships this year and they will not win the OAC but I think 7-3 or 8-2 if we steal one is not out of the question.

My son plays in the secondary so I am a little bias but senior leadership this year is outstanding. We have an outstanding junior class and some very good D2 transfers.

Wooster wasnt much of a test and weather played a big factor in the Cap game so maybe im jumping the gun but I think they will surprise alot of people.

Thanks for letting me join the conversation.

welcome.  just for clarification, you are saying that this year's BW team is not the best team in school history?  refreshing

B38W. I hope for you and your son your right. I saw the Wooster game and left disgusted at the half because the level of play was so low. Wasn't much better reviewing the video from Heidelberg. Not sure whether BW was good or the Berg was as sloppy as they seemed to be (Penalties, turnovers). Apparently the victory over Capital wasn't as impressive as we earlier thought as Capital barely beat the Quakers. BUT, that's why we play the games.

They will show what they are made of against Mount, ONU and Otterbien. BW-Muskingum is usually a great defensive struggle.

My two cents - they'll have to steal one to be 7-3 (Snell is still coaching, right?)

Same as it ever was...same as it ever was...same as it ever was...

Good luck this year, if healthy when Ott plays BW my son will go up against yours. Should be fun.

Onu Mount and Ott are the games I think we may lose. Not quite to their level yet
. Not a big Snell fan either. Hope son is ok by the 9th.

Thank you, we come to your house so you never know. It is day to day, unless he reinjures he should (knock on wood) be okay by then. Good luck this weekend.

Apparently it doesn't look good for Assmann playing vs. Wesley on Saturday.  He hurt his shoulder against BW and has been trying to be ready for this weekend, but as of tuesday wasn't throwing much.  Don't know what has happened in the last 2 days, but you don't like to hear that about tuesday when you are about to face the #3 team in the country.

Great news.  The spread is looking good.
I find easily offended people rather offensive!

Statistics are like bikinis; what they reveal is interesting, what they hide is essential.

B38W:  Welcome to the fray.  We've needed a BW presence since we lost BWdad.  I hope BW has a good season.   The OAC would benefit them them rising again.

You might be interested in joining our OAC Pick-Em contest which can be found here:  http://www.d3boards.com/index.php?board=1497.0

Don't worry about missing the first 3 weeks.  A few of the old guys have handicapped their starts with you in mind...... ;)

Wilmington only SEEMS like a suburb of Cincinnati. How about a night in Washington Couthouse.

Don't forget Lenny gets to be there, after getting home from Garrettsville around 11:00PM

Got a feeling it's going to be all downhill after:

"Good afternoon Ladies and Gentleman from Williams Field in Wilmington, Ohio"

Stress on the word FIELD

Hey, as I remember, the local Wilmington Broadcast is, if nothing else, entertaining. Lottsa local "flavor"

Ah, the joys of broadcasting from Wilmington.  A game where the listening audience is gone by the end of the first quarter, if they were even there to begin with.

Also the site of the debacle where Ric at the end of the 3rd quarter took off his head set and said "I can't do any more of this sh..., The rest of the game is yours".

I was thinking Musky is the tossup game. The battle for 4th. Welcome to our nutty little band

One of my friends from Otterbein is calling the WC games for their online stream this season. He works in the admission office at the college. If you ge the chance, pop over and say hi. He's a good guy.

70sRaider  You are obviously a student of the game and your battle for 4th post is more then fair. Sure beats the hell out of 3-7 last year.
