As long as we are being touristy, any of your Otters going to the Berg, there is a great sports bar Carmies, next to the Hampton Inn just off RT224. Let me know what you think of Mayer Field. A little short of seating now, but s/b beautiful when it's finished

When I lived in Cincinnati I didn't know anybody who thought of Wilmington as a suburb.
Wilmington is only 30 miles from Dayton, but I wouldn't call it a suburb of Dayton either.

The best thing near Wilmington (20 miles west) is probably The Golden Lamb in Lebanon.  At least it has some historical significance.
I've eaten there, but it was many years ago, so not sure what it's like now.

nothing in Lebanon could be "the best" of anything, and Wilmington is a different animal.  I was stoked when my high school league split into divisions and we never had to make that trip anymore.

Anybody know whats going on with TJ Lattimore? I've heard some rumors, but I wonder if anyone knows anything concrete?

If you are really looking for the true Wilmington experience and want some food, stopping in and grabbing a burger at Rod's is a must. Is just a little bit outside of town on 730 but it's worth the drive. I lived and worked at the college for 2 years. Nothing beats a Rod Burger

Rod Burger, sounds like a porn star or anchorman.

You might want to pack some lawn chairs and despite what it says here, the game is at Mayer Field behind the Heidelberg Fieldhouse. They stopped using F-K Field at the end of last season. There are temporary stands but the actual stadium seating is very limited till they build. I think I posted a picture of the "stands" back in late August. I'll see if I can find it.

Since there maybe some Otters going: DO NOT GO TO FROST-KALNOW FIELD, The Berg not longer plays there

I won't be able to make it up to the game but I was in Tiffin this past week visiting HS's and stopped by the stadium. The turf field looks great, along with the nice fence that surrounds the facility. Stands will be an issue.

On another note, I got an amazing haircut in downtown Tiffin. If your ever in the area, stop in at The Varsity Barber Shop. The gentlemen that cut my hair loved talking D3 sports. Hell of a deal too, and he didn't hold it against me that I was an Otterbein alum

I'll have to get a haircut there while I wait for my daughter some Friday, probably cheaper than Akron

BW played at the Berg last week. Going to be very nice when its finished. Get there early for a seat and I suggest using the bathroom before you go.

It's family weekend, could be a slightly larger crowd (add my wife and daughter)

Now that I look, mine is a link but it's to a pre-formatted avatar from Twitter. Easiest is save to your computer, resize it smaller and upload it
