Newbie here. BW will not win any national championships this year and they will not win the OAC but I think 7-3 or 8-2 if we steal one is not out of the question.

My son plays in the secondary so I am a little bias but senior leadership this year is outstanding. We have an outstanding junior class and some very good D2 transfers.

Wooster wasnt much of a test and weather played a big factor in the Cap game so maybe im jumping the gun but I think they will surprise alot of people.

Thanks for letting me join the conversation.

Welcome B38W. Our daughter's a senior at BW. Great school, even if their colors conjure up unfortunate associations for some on this board  ;D. Glad BW is represented. Imaginary +k

First time poster here. I have been reading for several years, so finally thought I would post.
I won't come close to the wit and humor of the rest of you guys. It has been a good read all these years. I wanted to ask SeventiesRaider if he knew when the stadium construction would start at Heidelberg ? I have been going to the home games for several years, and Mayer Field is a great setting, but seats are at a premium. Parking isn't bad either. Last week for BW they had two sections of portable bleachers and a temporary pressbox structure.

The last several years I have a schedule planned out for each week of the season and get to a game about every week. I'm in Northwest Ohio so Heidelberg is only about 25 miles away. The weeks I'm not in Tiffin, I can get to Oberlin, OWU (Selby Stadium is a great venue), Bluffton and Defiance. I can usually pick up a Tiffin U, BGSU and Toledo game occassionally also.

Isn't Jungle Jim's down around there (Wilmington)?  MY GF is bugging the HECK out of me to go there.  I am like.....ummm....SURE honey......I would LOVE to drive almost four hours to go SHOPPING!   :o :P

Umm... No.  Jungle Jims is on Rt. 4 in Fairfield.  Just drove by it today as a matter of fact.

I mean, Wilmington is closer to Jungle Jim's than, say, Alliance, but it's still a good 45 minutes or more from Wilma.

They do have a nice selection of imported beer though.  Nothing beats a good German Weissen as a reward for the trip.

The last time I was there I noticed that there were survey stakes along the hillside. They are raising money now. I guess it is just a decision that will be made when there are enough funds committed.

Gut feeling prediction: The Berg puts it together and shocks Otterbein

I find easily offended people rather offensive!

Statistics are like bikinis; what they reveal is interesting, what they hide is essential.

still missing quite a few picks.

Except for a good Kentucky bourbon. :P
12-0 = 13

Kira & Jaxon's Dad

Our team was down 21-18 with 2:50 left in the 4th and had the ball on our own 1 yard line.  We drove 99 yards and scored with 5 seconds left to win 25-21!

First Varsity win for us (first year) and it was against a school 3 miles away that will sure to be our main rival.

Congrats on the win.  Seems like everyone I know that is in coaching was in a dogfight last night.  Another buddy won a rivalry game on a FG as time expired.

We lost a tough game 22-15 despite being up 15-6.  We lost one of our stud RB's to what we think is a torn MCL but we're waiting confirmation.  We are 2-2 on the season but we've outscored our opponents 127-79.

Nice to see Mount Union's Lenny Reich in the Garresttsville pressbox covering the game against Mogadore for the Warren paper. We clearly lost the battle of the bands at halftime, but Mogadore kicked a FG to win 23-20

BTW There are Live Stats on the Berg's website. Not fancy, but they work. S/b streaming on WHEI as well

What, no pay-for-view from Wilmington? Guess it's not a Cinci suburb  ::)
