As has been said by some in here, soph Neal might have to use the underneath/crossing routes to get the playmakers the ball.

I just hope he learns to see a 6' 4" tight end waving both arms in a crossing pattern 7-8 yards deep. I'm guessing that once up to speed, Kyle Miller will be a hand full to bring down

Please don't tell  me Kyle Miller shrunk from his 6'6" by jumping up and down and waving! ;D ;D

Will Kyle Miller get any NFL interest, he has the tools! :-\

This just in...

Capital and the Berg just put up another 400 yards of Offense and 30 more points.  ;D

Good to see Cap get the offense in gear, but I am surprised by the lack of defense.  Guess I shouldn't be, Cap-Berg always seems to be a high scoring affair.

2010: 60-50
2009: 46-32
2008: 38-17
2007: 42-10
2006: 65-7
2005: 66-0
etc...

and the one I will never forget- my jr. season, 1995- 51-50
What is it between Cap and D'Berg?  Are fighting it out for German-American supremacy, I guess?

The BPD3 Level System Top 25 unveiled:

NOTE:
BPD3 Level System Top 25
To add to the intrigue and fun of the ranking system, I am creating "Levels" within the Top 25. In the "Level System", I will be grouping teams that are reasonably comparable in my opinion and exposing where I believe there is a drop-off of some kind between ranks.

Is there anyone "intruding" on Level 1 with UW-W and Mount Union?

Where do the "breaks" occur between levels?

What Level is ONU on this week?

It's Heidleberg and Otterbein that are distinctly german, although Cap, with their Lutheran heritage, could be "german" as well, I guess.

In my humble opinion, based upon the past several years at the Stagg, it's UMU and UWW......then a whole bunch of other folks.  They have proven to be a two-horse race each year for the title.  Until someone beats them in the playoffs, there is a thick, black line drawn to separate the rest of D-III from these two.

Also, Miller may get some looks by the "big boys"....he is athletic, has great hands, size, intelligence, is coachable, and comes from an NFL lineage.  Probably not drafted, but he has the tools when you compare him to folks currently earning a paycheck on Sundays.

IMHO, Wesley has played the toughest part of their schedule will be be a top seed in the playoffs from one of the regions. UMHB could be a top seed as well, we will see how the fare for the rest of the season. Not sure anyone from the East region has shown to be dominate thus far this season. :)

I would have Wesley in the top tier until they prove otherwise. Personally would move Linfield down, and North Central up. With two near misses, Wittenberg s/b down one group. Wabash and St John Fisher are probably both too far down.

I also think you have been too humble rating Wisconsin schools. You can't be the most powerful conference in the country based on one good team.

After watching last Saturday's game, I don't know where to put Ohio Northern and remembering Baldwin Wallace is undefeated makes me further scratch my head.

IMO, Wesley should be in the second tier until they prove otherwise. In the last 5 years or so they've shown that so far they are unable to beat the top tier so until they do they should be just below it.

It's true that my first Top 25 a few weeks ago had 5 WIAC teams.   :D

These are reasonable assessments. One of the fun things of the levels is the subjectivity involved.  I have a hard time putting anyone with UW-W and Mount until  they show a little more vulnerability.  Wesley did give Mount a good game last year and Linfield played UW-W tough. That probably explains the differences in our perceptions of those two teams. With Wesley, I keep picturing players looking like they are ice skating while disturbed by cannon-fire while 44-7 flashes on the scoreboard.

Wittenberg is definitely on the edge of dropping.  I moved ONU UP a spot after getting shut out primarily because of tumbles by Coe (too close) and Willamette.  Thanks for looking it over and adding your thoughts!

Well, using the logic that to be the best, you have to play the best......
Same as it ever was...same as it ever was...same as it ever was...

skunks_sidekick

Linfield had one year with a D-I QB.  They couldn't repeat the following year with the same cast, because WW answered the bell.  They didn't even make the play-offs for the next THREE YEARS??? Seriously?  Bleed.....you are showing your true colors.

And to have all those WIAC teams in your "top 25" is a joke.  I think you are just trying to get a response?  I have let it alone because when the season is over, it all shakes out.

Let's face it...as it stands now......WW will NOT have a game before the play-offs.  There is no one in that conference that can challenge unless all the stars, moons, and cosmos align.

I know part of your blog/posts/lists it so garner reaction....the stronger the better.  But DUDE, I have read your stuff...you are way better than that.
