So what's the story on Mount's TJLattimore? He played in game 2...questioned byNCAA 09/23....no longer on roster. If he was ineligible, will Mount have to forfeit?

JUSTDOIT

The only thing I could find was this from Miami of Ohio website dont know if its old or what did not see him on their roster either.

Mount is not going to have to forfeit the JCU game, come on now.  TJ is not playing for Mount this season, but is planning on playing next season...at least thats the latest from this board.  Not a whole lot of information on the subject to be honest.

btw, rumor is cecil is out this week...probably a good thing to rest the injury now

PurpleSuit,

Agree, they will need him later. I do think this will Jasper Collins and the other receivers good opportunities to improve! The key against the "Berg" is slowing down the high octane passing game, so the Mount defense will have to rise up again! :) as well as holding on the the darn ball!

The berg has a good passing game, but it shouldnt be too much of an issue for the Raiders.  If last year is any indication, as long as Mount can pressure the QB he will just blindly throw it up to Preston.  Despite the height disadvantage, I think our dbs can hit him at the line and disrupt the deep ball.

The Berg's offense is more than just Preston and they have a running game, what they have not shown is any defense worth discussing. If Mount screws around like last week, they are capable of putting up some points. Heidelberg will give the Mount d-backs a workout. I only predict a more competitive game than The Berg has brought in many years

You are right seventies, Heidelberg can score, running or passing. Having watched a couple games now, the problem does seem to be defense. See Capital, and last week giving up a 24 point half-time lead to Musky. They just do not seem to finish out the game on D.

IF Mount plays "Mount football" as they did against ONU.......34-14......42-17.

If they don't.........35-34......OR.....they lose...especially if Cecil isn't playing.

This team ISN'T that good.......they possibly can be.....but not now.

By the way....Jr.'s team is now 8-0.  Big win against Canton McKinley.  Phewwww....boy is there a difference between city ball (albeit GREAT city ball)...and suburbia ball.  WOW!  It almost got ugly.

A prediction of mount losing to the student princes?  Wow i never thought i'd see the day.  I respect the transformation under coach hallet.  But giving up 60 to capital with a backup qb isn't striking fear into this purple raider.  Call it arrogance, call it what you will.  But to think that mount will come out flat again and at home is crazy.  Even without cecil, mount will roll.

Until the student princes beat an upper tier oac program, they are just heidelberg....early october fodder

I find easily offended people rather offensive!

Statistics are like bikinis; what they reveal is interesting, what they hide is essential.

For anyone interested Otterbein360, the schools media website will be doing a live feed of tomorrow's game vs. Capital at 1:30

While perhaps more entertaining than the JCU game, my only prediction is more passing yards for the Stud Princes than the P-Bears accomplished in Alliance

JK-

It's Ott/Cap week and I have yet to see the wager! Was having the Ott logo as your profile picture 2 out of the last 24 months really that bad!?!?! I'm willing to put my profile pic on the line again this year. Let me know before kickoff if you're willing to do the same again!

I'll be down in the parking lot before the game enjoy a few cold beverages. Maybe I'll see you there

The Berg have 1000 more passing than rushing yards. I hope they can tally more than 85. At least the student princesses are +5 in points at 2-3. ONU is +81 and 4-1.
