I've heard you and Ric on commercial breaks.  There's plenty of flirting going on between you two.  Your wives should be worried.

I find easily offended people rather offensive!

Statistics are like bikinis; what they reveal is interesting, what they hide is essential.

Ric's too short for me.

I hope you are talking about his height!   :D   [Zing back at ya!]

Also a nice quick interview before the game with London Fletcher.  The OAC's all over this game!

Very nice catch and run for TD.  They showed it at least 4 or 5 times.  He also had a couple of nice catches for 1st down grabs, plus that one-handed catch.
Collingsworth commented on Garcon saying something to the effect when he's on he's on, but when he's off it can go other way.
I hope he didn't hurt his hand too badly driving for attempted catch before the half.

HELP WANTED:

Looking for Pollsters for a "soon to be unveiled" D3 TOP 25 FAN POLL.

Publishing site: www.uwwfootball.blogspot.com

REQUIREMENTS:

1. Commit to submit a ballot ranking the D3 Teams 1-25 by stated deadline. I'm thinking that will be midnight on Mondays.
2. Research the teams and try to be as unbiased as possible in ranking them.
3. Think through your own philosophy as to how much to weigh previous ranking, won/loss record, your sense as to who would win head to head, national performances in recent years, quality wins, and whatever reasonable criteria you care to choose.
4. Submit a ballot EVERY WEEK by the deadline. Missing a deadline will be cause to forfeit your spot. Create and submit your ballot BEFORE viewing the D3football.com poll. You can look at previous weeks polls to get you started if you are having a hard time filling out the last few slots.

PURPOSE OF POLL

This poll is to promote meaningful and fun discussion on d3boards.com.  It is simply something that will be fun to contrast with D3football.com's poll. D3football.com's poll is the one legitimate poll we have in D3 football in my opinion.  This poll is not even intended to become #2. I just think it would be an interesting point of comparison and discussion.

HOW TO APPLY

Send me a private message. In your message indicate:
1. you are applying to be a pollster.
2. What team/conference you follow.
3. Whether you can submit a poll as early as this Thursday. (That is not mandatory, if everyone can we may do one this week).

WHO WILL BE CHOSEN?

The first 25 respondents will be our initial group of pollsters.  This group will remain the D3 FOOTBALL FAN POLL TOP 25 pollsters unless they resign their position or miss a deadline.  Pollsters, I will never post your names on the boards.  If you choose to, that is fine. If you are beyond the first 25 responses, your name will be placed on a "waiting list".  If there are fewer than 25 respondents by midnight on Wednesday, we will go with what we have and continue to have "open" slots to be filled.

Remember FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED!  ;)

A couple of things I had to get out of the way. First - I watched the Colts last night and saw the absolutely amazing catch by PG! For all the Mount fans in the house - we have seen that before (check the one against Otterbein). It blew Collinsworth away and all I could think was "I saw that before - and with the same hand!". Second - I am going to the Otterbein Mount game at the end of the month and need some info. Not sure about parking, seating and all of that in Westerville. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks and GO RAIDERS!

I played in that Ott/Mt. U game when Garcon made that catch. Still one of the most ridiculous things I've ever seen in person.

As for the Otterbein campus, most of the parking surrounds the stadium. The lots to the west and south of the field are your best bets. The away stands are small. Come early to get a seat. Usually people stand around the field on the track on both sides. There are restaurants all over Westerville. Basically any style of food you could ever want is within 5 mins of our campus.

Let me know if you need any other info about campus.

Otterbein gave this one away. Terrible effort at the end of the game. Dropped balls and very shakey QB play late in the game. Really disappointing offensive ballgame

A BAD day, very BAD day. No loss ever feels worse than losing to Capital and with a sick kid trying to play, it just made it worse. He had not kept food down for 3 days before the game, but did not tell anyone. He just wanted to play so bad, but had a couple tough plays at the end that hurt. Felt bad for him since he gave a great effort. He actually spit blood. Going to Dr today and hopefully will recover for Saturday. Football players are a rare breed. Probably why I played Golf.

RE: D3Football Top 25.

Interesting that UMU lost a 1st place vote this week.  I would have thought they would have lost votes after the lackluster victory (28-14) over Muskingum, not lose votes after a 45-7 victory over the Berg.  Maybe the voter was just late in noticing the previous week's game/score?

I know that it doesn't really matter with the playoffs looming, just food for thought.  IMO, UWW should probably have ALL the #1 votes based on the performances by this year's teams.
