RC-

I think I'm the only one left, I haven't seen 4u in some time.

I read often, post less.  What's there to talk about at this point?  When I attend OAC games these days, it's usually whatever matchup I think is best that week and what works with my schedule for travel.

I might attempt a double header this weekend though, going to the Cap/Mount game in the afternoon, and heading back up to the ONU/JCU tilt at 7:00.

Toph,

Two tickets $13-14 (both games), gasoline to Alliance and back to University Hts. $17, lunch and a reasonable quick dinner $20, D3 football in the fall............priceless! :)

Depending on how the Mount game goes, the dinner could end up being a burger at the Hood.   :)

And let's not forget, a pint or two at Parnell's to finish the evening (it's at Cedar & Lee for those of you who venture up to University Heights, about 8 minutes from campus).  Not much food to speak of, but one of my favorite bars in town.

Hey, if the game goes well, a cheeseburger at the Hood sounds great and a good excuse NOT to stop by the 1970 reunion tent.

It is official........I am making my first Mount game this year.  I will have a certain RB/LB with me who just finished his freshman season undefeated with a 20-0 win over Glenoak.

Jr. had approximately 1200 yards in 9 games, with 8 touchdowns.  I'll be darn if the kid isn't a player!

See some of you over there!

Congrats on Jr's successful season.  It's obviously where he gets his talent:

The UPS delivery guy was a stud.
I find easily offended people rather offensive!

Well I'll be..............there too. Terrific job by JR. It is obvoius all the trips from the litttle brown truck gave those legs to JR and hanging on to all those packages gave him the hand strength to hang on to the ball. Mr. Brown should also be very proud! ;)
WELCOME TO THE MACHINE!

Kevin and I get out because it's bye week. His team won the Suburban Youth regular season and doesn't have the first play-off till next week.

Joe Tait Update via the ABJ:

"Joe Tait will not return to the Cavs' broadcast booth in 2010 after he was diagnosed with aortic stenosis. He will soon have surgery to replace a valve in his heart and address other heart-related concerns. No timetable has been established for his return, but it won't be before New Year's Day. Mike Snyder and Jim Chones will handle radio broadcasts until Tait returns."
Never underestimate the stimulation of eccentricity.

Who is going to do the games in place of Joe Tait? Does anyone know if the tape delay games are available in Cleveland on Cox Cable. My sister-in-law asked and I have Time Warner.

And HSCoach, I'm breaking out the OUIJI board to do my picks now
