I'm listening to Mount vs Cap game and reading the PD online.  Did anyone see this?  The Browns ought to give this guy a job.

That's a great article, runyr, great spirit. I don't get the pd up Sandusky way, so thanks for this!

Game ball to mt. D   they shut the door on caps offense.   cecil on sidelines with an ortho shoe on his right foot.  this injury may take awhile  damaged wheel  not good.

Talked to him after the game--he said it was turf toe and could be 4-6 weeks.  But then he said he was going to try to practice this week.  Said he can run on it now, which he couldn't last week, so he would see how it went.
Reloading--Again, and again, and again....

Rest up CS.  Mount won't need him until week 12
I find easily offended people rather offensive!

Murray runs in another one.
How many are his? I've lost count. UMU 38-other purples O. Oh dear.  Fumble. Recovered by UMU at Crusader 18yd line. THERE'S. Lemmon. People up here have been asking about him. TAKING A KNEE on the 8. It's over.

What "purples", both teams wore black and white.
12-0 = 13

JCU outgains ONU in the first half and is domintaing TOP (20 min to 10) but trails 21-14 at half thanks to a fumbled lateral (looked like a forward pass to me) on their own 15.

Yikes.  33.5 is looking well out of reach. >:(

There's plenty of time for JCU to "turn it around", but they're actually looking pretty good so far tonight.

I can't say I'm impressed at all with ONU's defense.  JCU marched 94 yards on their late 2nd qtr drive and made it look real easy.

jam40jeff

JCU looking more like JCU and ONU looking more like ONU this half.

Grateful for the "modify" button today of the spastic thumbs, but this is one I won't modify, though I had to put my glasses on to confirm it was there-- around the numbers. Anyway, purple is a state of mind, right?

Glad Alice Cromwell was recognized on her 90th birthday at the game  today. Someone told me midweek that when friends said they wanted to have a party for her today she said, "It'll have to be in the morning because I have football in the afternoon." I believe it was her late husband, the Rev. Tom Cromwell, who was the MUC alum. He has been gone for decades but Alice continues to make every home game. She is a winning coach's mom and has a high school FB star Fresman grandson. And even OTHER qualities which make her a remarkable woman.

Results for Week 8 have been posted.  Spreads for Week 9 are coming later tonight or tomorrow morning.
