RC:  Come on.  You know that facts should never get in the way of a good story......

My comment  should have stated that B-W has not had only one loss when they played the Raiders later in the season or 6 out the last 10 years.

                            B-W record -Regular season
2000  Game 9            6-4
2001  Game 9            6-4
2002  Game 2            8-2
2003  Game 2            8-2
2004  Game 8            6-4
2005  Game 8            4-6
2006  Game 7            7-3
2007  Game 7            6-4
2008  Game 4            5-5
2009  Game 4            3-7

These are the facts.

HA HA!  As per usual......Raider 68 is trying to put a positive/exciting spin on the Raider's remaining OAC schedule.  I know Raider 68...HALF FULL...HALF FULL!   ;)

With the amount of points both OTT and B-W have given up so far in conference play against the better teams, there is NO reason to think that Mount doesn't put up at least a 35-50 spot on both.  So that means those two teams have to score at the same clip to even be in the game.  Is that possible?  I guess........  Is that probable?  NOPE!

Unless Mount has another "Marietta game", these two games will shake out in the 42-14 range or so, with Mount winning (of course).

Anything CAN happen....but this Mount team seems to be playing better overall week to week.

Proves my point. Went about 6 years ago and got up for a coke came back Amd my fan was on my seat I ask them if they  would lete have my seat. It had a jacket on it. I was told when I was rooting for a team that deserved to be watched I  could have it back and that they did expect hello to freeze over so find another seat

This happened to me too... up at Ohio Northern last year... but the guy (who guys by realitycheck on here) ALSO TOOK MY ICE COLD COKE.  He wasn't very nice to me.

I am very impressed with the guys who have replaced Shorts and Claycomb, Jasper Collins and Brandon Brown.  This is a vastly different Mount Union team than we have seen in years past.  We don't have stars running all over the field, no All-OAC guys at nearly every position, no All- Americans on offense with Cecil hurt and LK doesn't have to be creative to keep the score under 60. They remind me of The Great Jim Ballard's 1991 team, 8-1-1, or the 1998 team that was blessed by God. Can they win it all? I would appreciate your thoughts.

while i agree that there might not be any All-Americans on this years squad other than cecil (although I would argue for Miller and Lambert at least).  There are potentially a ton of individual stars on this team, they are just a really young squad with no preseason hype for the youngsters.  I see this Mount team as one of the more talented teams in recent years, just really young talent.

Barring season-ending injuries there will be more than one Mount Union player on our All-American team.

hopefully Mount can have as many as ONU's best team of all time.  I can think of at least five Raiders that are deserving, off the top of my head

Interpretation.....they escorted you out of the building and didn't even let you grab your knick knacks.   ;D

Hopefully...you have learned that grabbing a female colleague's behind is NOT acceptable as a "job well done" gesture.  HA HA HA!   ;D

It was a dude that he grabbed and he tried to play it off by saying he was flashing back to college and that that guy was his center on a silent count quarterback sneak.

First regional rankings are out.

Wheaton and NC ahead of Mount in the North.  ???  If I wasn't laughing so hard I'd be upset.
12-0 = 13

thanks to Pat for sticking up for Mount in the regional ratings, but as someone later said, things will work themselves out....the only thing I see negative is that they may have to travel in the first week of the playoffs if things stay the same.....
This team is coming on, so I think the best is ahead...not just this year  either, but two or three down the road looks darn good....
I saw what LK sees in Piloto in the second half of the Jv game at Ashland...wow...he can light it up..

Barring a loss, how could UMU have to travel the first week??

Since Wheaton/NCC still play each other, UMU cannot finish lower than 2nd (home until the third week), and will almost certainly end up being ranked first (UWW was FOURTH in the first West rankings last year).
