I find easily offended people rather offensive!

Statistics are like bikinis; what they reveal is interesting, what they hide is essential.

But then again, Baldwin-Wallace, ONU, Thiel and Heidelberg can all say they beat Marietta by more than two scores this year...

...something Mount Union can't.

I blame it all on John Boehner--since he has come into line to run the house everything football has been messed up. ;) ;)

Not that far off from everyone blaming Pelosi for everything! ;) ;)

I at least like the fact that people are talking about this as a possible "game" for once.  like others have said, BW usually gives a good fight which in the end means nothing if you dont win of course.  I can at least say my freshman team beat Mount in Berea back in 99 on a last minute drive for a 27-26 win (i think that was the score?).  We thought we were going to repeat that when most of us (other than the smart 5 year guys like myself!!! hahaha!  God I loved college...) were seniors but came up short 28-21.

Ill be at the game, come find a tailgate either at the berea parking lot or the jacket backers tent right outside the side gate for some food and beverages if you are at the game!  Ill be bouncing back and forth at both.

Go Jackets!!!!!
Go Eagles!
Go Jackets!

fat_old_LB,
There are times when you have to put tradition aside (100 yrs vs 3) when it comes to $ and an education.  My son turned down a full ride to L Erie to play at Mount.  He's a medical NR this year but is now stronger than ever.  The point is now he/we're looking at $60 in loans.  Tough to leave money on the table.
Sports are a means of obtaining a quality education at the least amount of financial burder to your family while being able to continue to play a sport you love.

Desertraider was not even good enough to play for Hiram since he "watched" the Varsity stink it up for four years!

Actually, I went to Hiram after 4 years in the Army (Gulf War I and OIF vet - I went back in after grad school). I talked to the Coach my freshman year but decided that I left the Army to go to college for a degree - not to play football. Not gonna say I could have played - but I could have played 8-). Which is not saying much at all I could have played at Hiram ???. I think they won 5 games my entire 4 years - alot of people could have played. They did have a few good players (Morris and Vaughn come to mind) but for the most part they would have been 2nd string on any other JV OAC squad.

BW scores on long pass play. MU answers with Shorts kick off return for 6 + 1. BW but got a gift on Murray fumble in their red zone.  Not sure they made it out of the zone on 3 and out.  Mt scores again on great td  catch by Miller.  Blocked extra point.  BW pass game brings them another score. They miss extra point. One min left in quarter MU 13 BW 13

reality check

ONU leads Wilma at the half 28-0.

ONU has 4 TD's but only had the ball for 3 possessions in the first half.  Pretty efficient but the clock has been flying.

Mount is giving BW plenty of chances.  They're lucky to be leading right now with the turnovers and 11 yard punts.  Was it partially blocked or a shank?  Live stats only tell us so much.

Looks like the game the OAC was hoping for.

Radio says the punt was a shank.

JCU 21 - Heidelberg 21  Halftime
12-0 = 13

Seaman's right shoulder hurt on a sack(non throwing arm). Pilotto has an opportunity. Mount leads 20-13 at the half.
