Dang, passed over for the M Club Hall of Fame again. They apparently don't have my stats from the bowling machine at The Hood ::)

Even I'll be screaming if they get overlooked this year

Hey Pat during the Boise game yesterday, one of the announcers mentioned d3 college williams as having an undefeated season and a very good football team.  I didn't see them in your projected brackets.  Curious as to why they are not in the playoffs or are they?

Because they play in a conference that chooses NOT to play in the NCAA play-offs.

On another note    Mt. game was not very competitive.     It appeared to me that the fish gave up.  Hate to see that.

But that conference DOES choose to compete int he NCAA Baseball playoffs.  I still don't understand that... ???

As far as I know, they participate in ALL sports except football (where they do not even play any non-conference games).

Yeah and calling that football game "The Biggest Little Game in America" is like being a hero in your own mind.  :P

Agree, Musky just could not do much, but the Raiders looked sharp and ready for the playoffs. Cecil will make a huge impact in the coming weeks, IMHO! :)

Well Cap was their usual jekyll and hyde self today all in one game.  They blew a 24-0 lead and beat a horrible Etta team by 3 to finish 5-5 in Stanfords first year.

We will see what the future holds.  I never got up to C-bus this year to see them in person, so I will have to rely on your assessment that they are lacking in talent.  Although, I really feel that that's a bit of an overstatement.  Just last year Assmann and D'Andrea were two of the best in the conference at their position.  Assmann got hurt and D'Andrea ran behind a poor offensive line.  Ryan Gunnarson went over 1000 recieving yards on the season today as well.  On D, Sam Jacobs had crazy tackle numbers and Ronnie Smith can cover anyone.

The problem is that everyone I just mentioned is a Senior.  It will take a lot to match 5-5 next year, for sure.  To lose that much talent from a team that went 5-5 is a bad omen.

I'll reserve judgement on the new staff.  Bickel went 5-5 his first year after Collins left, and then had a couple of good years.  There is plenty of talent out there and Cap could get some of it.  We'll see.

The school administration does scare me though.  We'll see how that plays out.  Bowman is kind of young for a college president, and Cap isn't exactly a destination job.  Hopefully we can ride it out and be competitive until a new, hopefully more athletic friendly president comes in.

Sorry for the lack of Cap support the last few weeks.  I havent had a free weekend since September, and I have been in a Class at Ft. Knox the past two weeks.

Since I wasn't on his past thursday, for those of you who are veterans, happy belated veterans day.  God bless you for your service.

You get me 12,000 people to one of your games and play 125 of them and we'll talk. We are good with the nickname here at D3football.com.

Okay, Canton McKinley / Massillon football games draw double that and have about 120 times.  I'd say that's a bigger little game in America.  :-*

Thought BW could get it to 8 and 2 today but just didnt get it done. Still a good season for a team that was picked to finish 7 or 8. We will surely miss our seniors but with 8 returning starters on defense and 9 on offense will should make some noise next year.

Best of luck to Mount and ONU in the playoffs. Im sure that you will represent the OAC well.
