I am so done with the selection committee or whatever the F%^%&k they are.......

UWW is a #2??????  What a JOKE!

reality check

Wow.  Some crazy stuff in the brackets.

Bring on Wittenberg.  I'm a little surprised it's a home game for ONU but I'm not complaining.  However that bracket looks like the toughest based on my initial reaction.

The number one team and defending champs are a two seed?

No offense, but Mount better win that bracket.  That has to be the weakest bracket by far although I like Del Val.
OAC Champs: 1942 (one title ties us with Ohio State)
OAC Runners-Up: 2017, 2016, 2015, 2010, 2009, 2005, 2004, 2001, 2000, 1999, 1982, 1941 (Stupid Mount Union!)
MOL Champs: 1952, 1950

RC.....if ONU doesn't win by two TD's I will be amazed.  Take care of business ONU and make an OAC statement.

I hope Del Val wins their first game so we get them in round 2.

Mount travels to St. Thomas if both hold serve?

WESLEY is the top seed????

WTF is going on???

There is NO rational explanation for all of this other than someone decided to try to have a different looking Stagg than it has been in the last five years.  No other explanation works.

Yeah Mount would travel to St. Thomas if they're both still around.  As for the different look, this would still allow for a Mount/UWW rematch so they didn't set it up for a different outcome, only traveling to St. Paul or Dover to make that happen.

I know this is a long way away but this is the first time (if I recall correctly) that we even have a longshot possibility of an all-OAC Stagg Bowl since the current playoff format came to be.

1st off congrats to UMU and ONU

Ok, who from UWW ticked off the selection committee because this is nuts. UWW being a #2 seed makes no sense at all. The selection as Wesley #1 overall is strange at best. I wonder what bizarre logic the NCAA selection committee used for this formula.

Opps, there I did it again using logic and NCAA in the same sentence..... ::) ::) ::)

This was my thought!  I say the Raiders and the Warhawks leave no survivors in their wake on the way to a 6th straight match-up in Salem.  You guys do your part and we will do ours.  The defending national champs haven't played with this big of a chip on their shoulders and feeling of disrespect since 05, I believe!   ;)

Well, just when you think you've seen it all, we get this bracket.  Interesting seedings.

The first thought that comes to mind is it's "put up or shut up" time for a few schools complaining about not being respected nationally.

First being Wesley.  The #1 overall seed has at least to make it to the semi-finals or they're a colossal failure.  If they hold serve and make it there, they won't be able to use the sloppy field conditions as an excuse for getting drilled by UWW again.

Second being North Central.  We've heard for the last couple weeks that they deserve a #1 seed.  Whelp, they got one.  Now go play like it.   The likely Round 2 game against ONU won't be a cake-walk, but it's a game they have to win at home.  Then comes the 800 lb gorilla.  Push UWW to the limit and they'll have my utmost respect.  Win and they'll have shocked the D3 world.

Third being the East Region:  Supposedly Delaware Valley was the Beast of the East, but was tripped up only because of the East's great depth (at least according to Rossi), well they get their chance in Round 2 to show the nation if that's true.    Cortland vs Rowan has been a raging Pool C debate.  They get the gift from the NCAA and now get to show whether it's the right decision.  Anything short of a Regional Final appearance would be a huge letdown for a time a FG away from being a #1 seed.
I find easily offended people rather offensive!

Statistics are like bikinis; what they reveal is interesting, what they hide is essential.

Looks to me like the committee would like to see different folks in Salem, so are providing some slight advantages to some teams.  WWW not getting a #1 is shocking.  I was prepared for Mount to get a #2, but did not even consider the Warhawks getting one.  Well, this is what is great about D3...we get to play it...so, as HS Coach appropriately said, "time to put  up or shut up."

Why would Mount have to travel to St. Thomas if it came to that?

The NCAA listed the top four seeds in this order:

1.  Wesley
2.  St. Thomas
3.  Mount Union
4.  North Central

If the #1 seeds win out, Mount Union plays at St. Thomas and North Central plays at Wesley.

No, if that were true NCC would be AHEAD of Mt. Union! ;)

I think it's a very good possibility that UMU could get a home game in the semi-finals vs. Wheaton, Linfield, or maybe Cal Lutheran.  Not saying that St. Thomas isn't a good team, but they barely got by St. John's in a down year and only beat Bethel 10-6.  On the other side of the bracket, Wesley has to get by UMHB if UWW is to go on the road.

Agreed that UMU got the weakest regional bracket and ONU got the toughest.
