...Whitewater is prone to believe the OAC is nothing beyond Mount.

Not true HScoach!! UWW played Capital a few years ago in the playoffs and it was a very close game through 3 quarters. Warhawks were able to pull it out in the 4th in a tough ball game. I think UWW has a lot of respect for the OAC. The fans will confirm that.
Confirming away!  And wasn't ONU the last team besides the Warhawks to beat the Raiders............in the last 6 years or something?  Much longer than that when looking only at conference contests, I imagine.  (Too lazy to do the research.)

Prior to the 1st Stagg Bowl win:  Oct. 12, 1991...JCU - 20, MUC - 20.   ;)

JCU Men's Hoops 1-0...if you're watching.

raiderguy

Another tough first round opponent for the Raiders (thanks NCAA) we are always getting the short end of the draw.....why do we always have to grind it out in the first rounds....can't we get a break once and awhile! ;D

Do you think the team needs any additional incentive for this weeks game?
This is the game LK can win his 300th game since becoming HC ......only 100 behind Jo Pa! ;)
WELCOME TO THE MACHINE!

Since I now live only 2 hours from Wesley,,I may get to see 4 playoffs and do some tailgating there too!!

UMU could have a good game in round 2,, I have seen both teams,,and they play hard, good football.the last time MUC/UMU played against an option team was maybe 04  and Salisbury is pure option,,Georgia tech/Navy style,,it will be fun to watch this playoff season unfold .

Well, bad as it might be, if we used the BCS logic we'd have
1. North Central
2. Wheaton
3. Mt Union
4. Wesley
5. Whitewater
6. St Thomas
7. Linfield
8. Wartburg
9. MHB
10. Wittenberg

BCS logic? is that like jumbo shrimp?

beenhit2hard,

Wesley will have some challenges in the South. Thomas More and Mary Hardin Baylor if they all win. MHB poses the greatest threat, IMHO! :)

Yeah, but St. Lawrence tries really, really hard...

Actually, their red-zone offense and defense have been the strong points this season.  Statistically they have not been all that great, but they have been opportunistic and found ways to stay in games.  Then again, no team they have played is currently in the top 25.

To be totally honest, MTU is 202nd in Net Punting, but y'all won't be seeing that punter this weekend, if in fact we punt at all. We punted once last week for 49 yards net

Not picking, just a sad attempt at something our friend Ric did when the MTUnionFootball.com website was still active. Came in handy on weeks when we played teams we were unfamiliar with.

BTW The T of the T for the ONU game is coming. I'm retired, but not totally without things to do.
