More like, if ONU and UWW win, then UWW get's to host another playoff game at the Perk.

Head coach at Kent State resigns this AM....Let the LK rumors begin...

raiderpa

Actually, if LK went to Kent State he would get into the very good PERS retirement system and if he stayed a few years could significantly enhance his retirement nest egg...but that's about the only positive I see.

He could be the first coach to win and lose three hundred games

I don't know, I think Linfield is the better team (than UST). but I see your point about wanting to host that playoff game. That'll be one long trip to Ohio for Linfield players and fans.

UMUdad:  Welcome aboard.

-ok, it's almost time for another flipping 380 mile trip home
FWIW the o-line seems to be reasonably healthy after playing 11 weeks and I have to say the o-line coach is quite a
character-here's hoping for NOT hideous weather the next few saturdays AND getting to see LK get 34 more wins (in person)

UMUplayerdad,

We spent some time in Western Michigan. Our son graduated from Portage Central HS (one of the premier schools there, IMHO). He is also a Mount alum. I follow several of the MIAA schools as well. but as an an alum and former player, support the the Raiders always! :)

the kids  high school team is in same conference, know that school(and field) very well-both PN and PC were real solid this year-and, yeah, if the weather is crap" I'll still be there-haven't missed one game since he started playing in fifth grade-won't start missing games  now-and as much as I hate to say this the premier teams NOW are from that dam OK conference-our kids get it handed to them by east grand rapids, and I think kzoo schools been getting pounded by lowell(who usually loses by 3-7 pts to EGRduring regular season)but, yep, PC is always tough, makes playoffs usually- set a "family along" timerecord on trip home sunday-5hrs, 380 miles-try that with a wife, mother in law,  in a vehicle, now in sports car, alone, in "oh crap. I'm gonna be late" mode, I've shaved more than an hour  off that-and stayed out of handcuffs, you gotta LOVE radar "jammers"-those and I-zoom passes arre two of man's greatest invenentions recently......

First congratulations to LK on his 300th win! I'm so glad my kid played for him and will benefit from his old-school wisdom, toughness and care for his players. Second, please stop that Kent State talk! Whoever takes that job is crazy and LK ain't crazy. Go Raiders!

Yep, it's in that "Careful What You Wish For" category, but I'd rather have Mount at home on Dec. 11 than traveling to Minnesotta.
