NO ONE (except the selection committee :P) considers you the underdog.  But say thank you to them for that extra motivation! ;D  (Though if any Warhawks need extra motivation to get up for a regional final game, they're in more trouble than I think they are!)

Personally, as a CCIW guy, I'm sticking with my selection of NCC in the pickems, but I would consider it an upset. ;)
Hey, 4 out of 5 posters picked NCC on the previous page.  Only HScoach picked Whitewater. Not sure about, "NO ONE," though.  Where did he post?   ;D

Answer to raider 68 question

the 4 quarter final winners

NCC  MHB  MOUNT  BETHEL

What he said, although UWW with a healthy 1st string QB may provide a different result

And a healthy pre-season all-american o-lineman back will also help the pass protection.

hscoach.  i like your picks except uwww.  i was surprised by the line on the wesley game.  what made you go double digits?

Would love to answer this, but I'd be giving away my secrets...... ;)
I find easily offended people rather offensive!

Statistics are like bikinis; what they reveal is interesting, what they hide is essential.

All 4 favorites move on.  Only question in my mind is the margins.
I know UWW has given up points, but they match up much better with NCC.  Would love to be wrong, but I think Whitewater dominates NCC.  Something around 31-14 with the score making it look closer than it really was.

HScoach, You wrote exactly what I believe is the basis for positive thinking for UWW- matchups.  If NCC comes out with their run heavy offense, I like UWW's chances.  As Mt and the recent playoff opponents have shown, it's the passing teams that give UWW problems.  I would love for this game to be smash mouth, and let the best team win.

emma17-Pretty sure you'll get your wish. I'm one of the ones leaning towards NCC, but this s/b a very close game. I'm going with the home team who hasn't really missed a beat all year.
Same as it ever was...same as it ever was...same as it ever was...

Mr. Ypsi

emma, got bad news for you.

Both Kyle Ray (Franklin) and Eric Watt (Trine) took my advice and transferred to NCC this weekend.  Both will be available against UWW. ;D

emma17

Yps,
Bad news indeed, but a fair deal would involve transferring one of their defenses as well.  ;D

Sorry. 8-)  NCC defense; NCC offense, but Ray and/or Watt if needed! ;D

If either team comes out with a heavy dose of only run or pass offense, they will be in trouble.  A balanced offense is crucial this time of the year, IMO, at least until the game is in hand for one team and they have worn the other down.  Correct me if I am wrong but all this talk of a heavy running offense for NCC has me confused.  They ran a spread offense much of the time at the Perk in 07.    ??? ???
If they have changed it up that much since then, they must not have the QB they had in 07 and after the last 2 games, that will be a relief.   ;D

And Seventiesraider, I'll go with the away team who hasn't missed a beat in............oh, 27 games and now holds the longest winning streak in the NCAA, all levels.   ;)

413.....when you get into the 50's......call us!   ;)

In the meantime.....have your boys take care of business and I have a feeling we will try to stop that in a few weeks.

LOL, no problem, SS.  Wouldn't dare try and compete with the Raiders in the, "history," game!  You guys got it all over us.  As for the, "present," however............... ;) :D ;D
I am hoping my Hawks take care of business, will be a tough task on Saturday, I suspect.

I think WW will win big and leave no doubt.  The question is, will they leave enough in the tank for MHB/Wesley?
