Come on you guys!  You knew it was only a matter of time before Mount wore down Alfred and "put it in gear"!    Now, the only question will be who will they play in the semi-final?  What is your preference? Or...doesn't it matter?

It's 6 degrees warmer in Alliance (31) than St Paul (25) right now, so I'd prefer a "warm" weather game in Alliance next week.

Looks like Mount Union makes the final four again.  Hscoach just said the last time Mount missed final four was 1994.  Amazing.

Alfred has a young team and should be even better next year. 
Ric said he hasn't seen a better group of linebackers in the playoffs than Alfred's.

Back from the game....

Worst half in a long time (well 1 1/2 quarters) for Seamon.  Receivers were wide open all day and he couldn't hit them at all in the first half.  

By far the best line/linebackers Mount has played.  They were at the point of attack every play.  Murray REALLY needs to hold on to the ball......I mean REALLY!

Good effort Alfred.......now come on BETHEL!

By the way.....neither of those two teams beats Mount if Mount plays solid.

Congratulations to the Purple Raiders for another trip to the semi-finals.  Now watching the Bethel-UST game.  Bethel just took the lead but failed again on the 2 pt conversion, up 12 - 7.  If UMU has to go to St. Paul, it at least looks like a cool venue.
