All I know is that Mt. plays very very well on the road.  Big games we have lost in the playoffs have been at home.  ie rowan  MHB     Going to STU  would have brought out the best in Mt.  I believe.

bushman,

Agree, I would like to see them play well on the road on December 18th, assuming Saturday's Mount/Bethel game is a win!  :)

I guess I was alluding to the fact they have a 99 game win streak regular season on the road.

Long road winning streak aided by the fact that they haven't played a playoff game on the road in that stretch. Not that the NCAA hasn't tried -- just that Delaware Valley and St. Thomas in their two opportunities have failed to protect their home field in the playoffs and force Mount to travel.

I find easily offended people rather offensive!

Ahh, true, forgot about that.

They've won quite a few regular season road games during that time as well...

That's what carried Alfred into December play for the first time ever. Pep remembers taking Pops to the football banquet for his birthday whereas this year, the Saxons were still playing after his birthday!

Now that the run is done, Pep is sure the coaching staff is hitting the road to play catch up in the recruiting game.

On Saxon Warriors!

On Saxon Warriors! On to Victory!
...Fight, fight for Alfred, A-L-F, R-E-D!

Today on ESPN's Around the Horn - reporter Bob Ryan from the Boston Globe said that he predicted Mount Union and Wisconsin Whitewater would meet for a 6th time.

did they even mention the 2 other teams in the games?  typical no clue front running journalist.  dont do any real groundwork to see if either of the other teams might have a shot, just go with the easy pick.  ;D

hey guys, good luck again this weekend.  i just put my order in for a 1/4 keg of pig iron porter from my local micro brew for the stagg.  totally expect you to be there, so make sure you stop by and get a pint or 2 of it.  won a gold medal at the great american beer fest in denver this year.  skunks, i guarentee that you will enjoy it.  me thinks that wesley steps up and gets it done this year, just a gut feeling.

I hope so!  Now, if that does happen, and if we can just hold up our end it will be a new Stagg match up!  Hoping to see you in Salem--and hopefully it will be as our opponent.
