Good news bad news. My conflict in Columbus got cancelled for both tomorrow and Saturday, so i'm still coming tomorrow night and I'm a go for the game as well. You pick which is which.

Looking forward to meeting some Bethelonians.

About 3.5 hours.

If you drive like a maniac (like me), you'll pick up time on 66.  But the truckers rule 81.

And if it snows like last year, just come over to my house!   ;D

Garcon just won this game with second and third effort.  Not his best stats, but one of his best games so far.

6 Receptions, 93 yards, 2 TDs, no drops -- turned a 7-yard play into a 43-yard run for the winning FG.

Forecast for December 18th in Salem VA   51 degrees and.................................................showers.

BTW-If you have to bring members who aren't going to the game, let me suggest the Hotel Roanoke, at little pricey but in the center of Roanoke and some of the best food in the valley. It's a straight 6 mile drive out Shenandoah to the stadium. I'm splurging my Hilton points. Visiting friends, so we're there no matter what.

(BTW-The Hotel Roanoke was the corporate hotel for the Norfolk and Western Railroad. It is now owned by Virginia Tech and operated by Doubletree)

70's, our Hippy-Dippy Weatherman!  did you get your info via NASA or the Farmer's Almanac?

I hope you are right.  I know we will hit the 40s THIS weekend before going back into "lucky to hit the 30's mode" next week here in Manassas.

I don't want to have another weekend in Salem like Bobert and I did vs. St. John's a couple years back.  Those mountains funnel the cold winds right into the stadium.

Ric and Mark's coverage will be expanded this weekend:

MTU Football to expand radio coverage

Congrats to HSCoach and Ric on their new "fame" in NE Ohio--

Fame!--I'm gonna live forever--remember my name!--Remember, remember, remember....

Very cool that the coverage area is expanding, but it doesn't change the fact I have a face for radio.........

AWESOME!! its about time that others in NE Ohio wanting to hear Ric & Mark make the call on MTU, UMU, MUC games get the chance! watch out!!  :o  next is College Gameday or taking over for Mark May and Lou Holtz! WOOHOO! or does this mean HsCoach will have to wear the MUCAW mascot head when he makes his predictions like Corso does? hmmmmmmm now there's a thought!!  ;D

reality check

He'd really be going out on a limb putting that MUCaw head on every week.

"Weather tonight: dark. Turning partly light by morning." (George Carlin as Al Sleet, the Hippy Dippy Weatherman, 1966)

Weather Channel forecast has deteriorated to 47 with rain and snow showers. This is starting sound vaguely familiar

"and the weather will continue to change for a long. long time"

I was hoping Ric would get stuck wearing the MUCaw mascot head, but then I realized the head is taller than he is.  So I guess it's me.  Darn.
