Either a large segment of the Pick-Em contestants have given up, or they're already under the table with Sidekick and can't type, but we're missing a bunch of picks.
I find easily offended people rather offensive!

Statistics are like bikinis; what they reveal is interesting, what they hide is essential.

Any hope than many of the missing are the ones ahead of me? :D

Given the weather I post a somewhat restrained prediction of 31-10

Thanks, Hazzben ... another quality human being in D3.  (+k)

Let D1 keep their Kiffins, and Urbans, and DickRods, and other questionable souls in the pursuit of wins at any cost.

Nice article.  Another shining example of how to build a successful DIII program!

You're covered--I am carrying the "credits".  See you in Salem.  The Bethel gang didn't show at Wing Warehouse--oh well, their loss!

Although I put my money on 42-12.

Had a nice time with MTFan, Theaprof, Hurfmuc, Skunks-Sidekick, HSCoach and RaiderGuy. Met up with Frank Rossi and UMUPlayerdad on the way out.

As of this hour, Alliance and Salem temperatures are the same. Next Saturday's forecast continues to deteriorate: Now calling for 40 degrees with SOME Snow

Same as it ever was...same as it ever was...same as it ever was...

So the decision tonight was to go with the differential prediction--and almost everyone picked a different differential.  Tie breaker will be who actually wins. Picks are:

MtFan Jr.--13
MtFan--22  (M35-B13)
HSCoach--22  (M34-B12)
Hurf--25
Skunk--26
Skunk's Sidekick--28
Seventiesraider--30
Wesleydad--31 (You can pay up in Salem)
Raiderguy #2--32
Theaprof--33
Skunk's Sidekick Jr.--36
Raiderguy--45

Somehow everyone picked Mount to win.

There are 60 "credits" riding on the score.  I guess since i am carrying the credits I get to determine any tie breaker. Skunk's Sidekick did say winner takes all the credits!  I'll post the winner and you can PM me to make arrangements to pick up your credits.

It was great to see all of you tonight--sorry some of the Bethel fans didn't join us.

Thanks Mtfan for the wings and beverages--we all owe you!

Go Raiders!!
Reloading--Again, and again, and again....

On the safety of our own board I'd like to say that I feel there will a hell of a good game in Dover tomorrow. I'm afraid that Wesley's team lacks the level of discipline required to make it to Salem.

In Alliance I hope to see a team hitting it on all cylinders. I don't think a lopsided score will demean Bethel as an opponent. I just feel this is the game you turn it up a notch. Not aware of any injuries, so heres hoping the Raiders come out and show why they deserve to be in Salem.

I just had a very clear thought about the friendships that I have developed over the years of following Mount Union and how much they have added to the mere experience of going to a football game.

And as George Carlin once said: It's not just a game, IF YOUR WINNING

Same as it ever was...same as it ever was...same as it ever was...

Frank Rossi

Was great seeing everyone tonight in Alliance.

Just a reminder that the NCAA.com Video Broadcast of the National Semifinal game between Bethel and Mount Union will begin at 11:45am EST.  The easiest way to find the correct link is to go to http://www.d3football.com/schedule and click the "V" next to the score line for the game.  Brandon Stewart joins me on the call from Alliance.

Good Morning D-III posters!   8-)

I LOVE the smell of wing sauce in the morning!  (Evidently I didn't wash my face too well last night before crashing.)  By the way....Jr. says "hi" to all those "crazy old guys", and wants to know if TheaProf can just buy him a I-tunes gift card with his expected winnings.   ;D

I missed Frank Rossi ???  Frank, how many of your Rossite entourage did the NCAA agree to let travel with you?   ;)

Great discussions last night, and I believe as in all our get togethers, that many serious issues facing our nation today were solved last night.  It's a good thing 70's was there to get us laser-focused, and on point.

Mt. Fan - you are the MAN!  Thanks for the beers and grub, and I hope to see you next week for eggs?  Shrimp?  Ribs?  What's on the menu?   8-)

The more I think about it, the more I believe that if Mount gets a comfortable (two TD) lead, LK will go very conservative on offense.  We have seen this before, and he likes to keep all his little surprises for the Stagg stored away.  He is uncanny that way.

Phew......I will need to check into the detox center after today.  I LOVE the smell of margaritas in the morning!  a fifteen year tradition is as good of a reason to drink as there is.   ;D

In regards to the Mt. mascot, don't get me started on the purple chicken!
