Another thing the FHSAA did in realignment this year is in one of the Tampa Districts they placed Four teams that made the playoff in other districts last year.  That guarantees that two teams that made the playoffs last year, won't be going this year.

6A-8:
Armwood (14-1) - Lost in the 4A Championship Game in 2010
Hillsborough (8-4) - Lost in the second round to Armwood in 2010
Jefferson (15-0) - Won the 3A Championship in 2010
Sickles (7-4) - Lost to Armwood in the First round in 2010
National Champions - 13: 1993, 1996, 1997, 1998, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2005, 2006, 2008, 2012, 2015, 2017

Congrats to the Raider Women's Basketball on their victory over UWW. They have a shot against #1 Thomas More! :)

I like Mount Union's chances tonight at Thomas More. Massey ranks MT 10th in power, TM 17th, MT 52nd in SofS and TM 132. Mount 12th in offense TM 58th. BTW Massey doesn't rank Thomas More 1st but 6th with Mount 11th after last night's games. Pretty sure Mount would have been undefeated if they played in the PAC

Seventies,

Based on these numbers, I do not see why TM was rated so high! ???

76-63 Thomas More.  The Saints clearly the better team tonight.

After they beat my WARHAWKS all I could say was "let's play football."  ;)  :D

Seriously, congrats to your women.  They had an outstanding team and a great season.

Let me add my congrats to your Raider's Women's BB team.  Great season.  I must confess though that I haven't followed basketball much since, 1.) my sons played and 2.) the Bulls were good.   I've been getting back into it more these days, however...................
   Sweeping the Heat!   ;)

I think Oshkosh will be good this year, they have a very talented QB that will only be junior this upcoming season. Point is losing a lot of talent, but they always seem to be solid. Stout is another team that could finish towards the top of the WIAC. Platteville did a lot of good things last year as well...and they also have a good young QB.

Is this the Tommy Manning, Mount grad, a football coach at Toledo?
13 time Division III National Champions

TheManInBlack

Yes, that Tom Manning.

As I understand it, Tom will be coaching the Oline while Wakefield will move back to Linebackers (which is the position he orginally coached his first year at Mount).  These moves occured due to the departure of Chris Kappas who is believed to have accepted a position at Bowling Green (Grad. Assistant?)

Adam Gonzaga makes his return to ONU as well, after a year stint at UTEP.  I would assume he goes back to helping call the defense in Ada as he did two years ago???? I am not sure.
