Otterbein has a competition at QB with incumbent Austin Schlosser, transfer Rocco Pentello ( Ashland, Ohio State) and Aaron Kincade. Should be interesting.

That's going to be very interesting.  I would be surprised if the same guy started all 10 games (and not because of injury).  I haven't seen the last two play in college, but they were both very nice QB's at good HS programs here.

I agree Dr. I saw them play alot too since my kid was playing in the OCC also. Should be a good battle. All very talented.

PurpleSuit

been a while since we have had a Pentello at QB in the OAC, I hope he has a great three year senior season like the last guy

Rocco technically has two years of eligibility left. Comes from a great football family and is a nice young man. Schlosser has a year and a half under his belt as a starter and Kincade has improved a lot. It will be interesting.

According to this Dispatch story (http://www.dispatch.com/live/content/sports/stories/2010/01/05/osufb_0105.ART_ART_01-05-10_C3_O8G70SE.html) he had two years of eligibility when he transferred to Ashland.  Did he not play there?  If he did play, wouldn't he have only one year left?

My understanding is he has the opportunity to use a medical redshirt.

I know he's a very talented player.  I would have thought he would do well at Ashland.  Any idea of  why he's leaving the Eagles?

Wants a shot to play QB again.

It was a nail-biter...but USA prevailed over Australia in their first game of the IFAF World Championships.

Final Score - 61-0

I have not seen any stats as of yet.

He's using the "Pentello Clause" which states that any player whose last name is Pentello may play as long as they wish without using up NCAA eligibility.  When the NCAA eggheads wrote this loophole into the bylaws they were just trying to be funny but look what it's turned into for the OAC.
