Congrats to Nate Kmic, keep it going!  :) :)

Nate Kmic:

2 Rushes for 12 Yards
7 Receptions for 107 Yards and 1 TD

Seems a little light on the carries & real heavy on the catches.  This is not the Kmic we're used to seeing.   :o

To be fair he's probably not playing on as good a team as he had in Alliance LOL.

Vince said yesterday at the M Club golf outing, that LK said they had two good running backs in addition to Nate but were short on receivers, so they put Nate in the slot.

Nate's wearing #1 now....I guess that number was sort of taken when he was at MUC

I had a thought about the lack of carries -- they're playing three games in five days, so nobody wants to give a guy 20 carries, I'm sure.

Hopefully the USA team will keep it going as well as Nate. Maybe, he could get a look from the NFL! :)

At his size, I would seriously doubt it. Looking at those video hightlights, he really looks small (short in stature, that is).  The NFL doesn't usually extend an invitation for someone like that, especially since it's coming up on three seasons since his graduation & he's been coaching a not playing, am I correct?

Why do you think the American sports media hasn't really picked up covering these world championships? Other than the MLB All-star game and the Women's World Cup, & the mundane golf tournament here and there, there really isn't a whole lot of sports around the country to write about these days.

1) It's the offseason. The media is accustomed to covering free agency, draft picks and training camp for the NFL, or recruiting, possible rule violations and preseason polls for the NCAA. Actual games aren't even on their radar.
2) The team is made up of D2 and D3 players (the "who the heck are these guys" factor).
3) They're playing against countries with little or no history of American-style football.
4) The games are in Austria. To the US media, any sports news coming from there has to involve skis.

You are most probably correct, but at least he is making the most out of it! ;D

Wow, two week without a post. That'll happen when your busy getting divorced. Condolences are unnecessary. Been like beating your head against the wall, feels so damn good when you stop.

I thought I saw a European broadcast listing on one of the lnks that seemed to indicate a live webcast of today's USA Mexico game? Can't find that site anymore...anybody know for sure if game highlights are all we can get until the medal games?
