Must be quite a bit of truth to the substantial drop in season ticket sales as my friend was able to significantly upgrade his season ticket location which is something he has been unable to do for a few years.

I thought I saw a European broadcast listing on one of the lnks that seemed to indicate a live webcast of today's USA Mexico game? Can't find that site anymore...anybody know for sure if game highlights are all we can get until the medal games?

Games yesterday were broadcast by some company called Orf.  Rights to the games today are owned by Eurosport2, which doesn't stream them live outside of Eastern Europe.

Well, I see I've lost my ability to post after quote... Is enrollment for 101 2011 closed?

Hot off the rumor mill!

Former Perry Panther (HS), and fighting Illini player Brian Gamble to finish his collegiate education and football career at Mount?  Wonder how many years he had left?  Anyone get a sniff of this?

Also.....in the "just trying to help you out" category.......

Seventies.......Harry O's, The Flying Machine, The Bank, and those sorts of places haven't been around for DECADES.  But then again......Applebee's might be fertile hunting ground for YOU!   ;D

I've heard the same.  I think it would be his final yr of eligibility.  Btw, he went to Massillon

reality check

Don't know much about Gamble other than a quick bit of research...

Graduated in 2006 from Massillon.

Played in 10 of 13 games at Illinois as a true freshman, starting in two games at WR in 2007.

He has a bio for the 2008 season but does not appear on the roster or in statistics for the season.

A Fighting Illini blog talks about off the field issues and multiple suspensions by the spring of his sophomore season.  He missed spring ball trying to clear those issues up but it was stated that his concerns were not academic.  That appears to be the last mention of him at Illinois.

Gamble transferred to Ashland and was all-conference in '09.  He has his share of off the field problems, mostly academic.  I hope, for his sake, that he has matured and is ready to salvage whats left of his collegiate career.  I know that Gamble has been working around Massillon since returning from Ashland.  I can't help but think that Jason Hall has a big part in this.  Massillon is becoming MUC West with all Hall and all the workouts going on at the indoor facility.  I hope he realizes that this is his last chance, I know that LK will not just hand him playing time.  I would guess he'd playing DB

but this is all rumor for a few more weeks until we can get some scrimmages going on and see what is going on for the '11 squad

reality check

So I wonder who wears #1 at Ashland for the 2011 season and what OAC school that player will be attending in 2012...

2009 - Ashland #1 Brian Gamble
2010 - Ashland #1 Rocco Pentello
2011 - Ashland #1 TBD

Mount Union isn't a social service agency and LK isn't a social worker. The fact is Brian Gamble seems to have some problems and a rather intensive academic setting might not be right for him,at this point. Diplomatic enough for everyone?
