Was great to get a chance to watch Nate perform again. I loved the little swing passes to get him moving. I know all the arguments against giving him a shot in the bigs, but damn wouldn't he look niv\ce next to Peyton Hillis. Could he be any worse than some of what the Browns have called running backs lately?

I saw former MUC running back John Battaglia is going to play for Wooster. He was a good running back for the Purples.  Anyone know how he ended up at Wooster?  I bet he cracks the starting lineup and has a good year. Good luck John, hope to see you suit up against us in the playoffs.

Hurry up and sign the NFL agreement and see if there is an offer out there. According with to an interview with the Colorado QB Cody Hawkins who was Nate's roommate, they are going to look for an international team to play for. God knows, there isn't a harder worker than Nate

With as catch-heavy as the RB position is in the CFL, there's a chance someone gets smart enough to sign Nate after seeing how much he can do as a receiver too.  It doesn't hurt that they played Canada in the championship either.

Good luck to Nate in Finland.
I find easily offended people rather offensive!

Statistics are like bikinis; what they reveal is interesting, what they hide is essential.

Congrats to Brette EKKens and Jasper Collins on their selections as Pre-season All- Americans. Best wishes to Nate Kmic on his selection by the Finland Team. :)

Saw Lenny last night at the cocktail reception/ticket sale event for the new D-League BB team in Canton.  Nate has signed for three games the Finland team has left, but will be back to coach before the season begins.  He is then hoping to attract enough attention from a variety of teams to get a shot either in the U.S., or Canada.

How big or small is Nate?  I don't remember off the top of my head.  Is he about the same size as Tiki Barber when he was playing with the Giants?

For the World Championships Kmic was listed as 5'9" 195 lbs.

On Wikipedia Tiki Barber is listed as 5'10" and 200 lbs.

Nate seems to never be able to escape the "size" comparisons.  For conversation sake, here's a list of comps according the their NFL.com bios:

Jamaal Charles 5'11" 199
Chris Johnson 5'11" 191
Jahvid Best 5'10" 199
Ahmad Bradshaw 5'9" 198
Kevin Faulk 5'8" 202
Justin Forsett 5'8" 198
Maurice Jones Drew 5'7" 208 (a little heavier but also two inches shorter)
Danny Woodhead 5'8" 195 (and I think he's the guy everyone would compare Nate to most directly)

3 of these names are going in the top five picks of the NFL Fantasy Drafts.  Four of these guys start on their respective clubs.  Now I know this is just size and speed and other factors play a major part in evaluation.  It would help if Nate ran CJ's 4.24 40.
