Kyle Miller listed on Jags depth chart as #1 long snapper....

The Depth charts for both Jacksonville and Indy are conflicting. I see the official one of the Colts that
list Pierre as the starter, yet ESPN's version shows him behind A. Gonzales. For the Jag's K. Miller is not listed. ???

I would suggest the teams official depth chart would be the most accurate. The media would receive their information from the team.  It's all a matter of how often those things are updated - which I'd imagine during training camp are pretty much not done in a timely fashion. A teams depth chart is probably old news by the end of the next practice (due to transactions, injuries etc.). The fact that a couple versions are floating around cyber-space is not that unusual, IMO.  ;)

the Jags official site now has Miller as 2nd LS,  last week he was listed first.

BoBo,

Good points, We'll see how the camp results all for C. Shorts and K. Miller. At this point I am more optimistic
for Cecil, but Kyle is of strong interest of the Jags. Wishing them the best along with the other D3 players! :)

I guess the question for Kyle is can he impress enough to fit in when the Number 1 long snapper comes back.  He had a tackle the other night.

I checked the Jag's stats and noticed that Shorts didn't have a reception.  I was wondering if anyone happened to watch the game and whether he played or not?

Cecil was held out with a minor groin injury, did not make the trip to NE.  He should be back for Friday's nationally televised game against Atl.

As Mount Union's camp opens on Wednesday, it will be like most of their previous camps. About
200 players report, they are picked to win the OAC again, have several out of state players and the list
goes on.

But is different this time around:

1. An "really" excited Head Coach, who returns to great play calling days.

2. Over 50 players worked in Alliance this summer to build a greater bond ( most ever)

3. No "NFL" type player who commands the majority of attention

4. New, impressive field to play on

5. A team that wants #11 in 2011. :)

.....and, for perhaps the first time in a long time, not sitting atop the throne of Div. III football.

anyone remember '03-04 when Mount was perceived to no longer be "atop the throne of D3 football"?  They seemed to respond fairly well in '05 and '06.

UW-W is having a great run and is, along with Mount, head and shoulders above the rest of D3 but they have a way to go before "dethroning" Mount.

I think Blutarsky is just referring to the fact that Mount isn't ranked #1 to start the season for once. I don't think anyone doubts that Mount is the most successful DIII football program of all time.

Just sayin' that for the first time in a long time, there's company at the top of the hill.  I'm hoping this will provide some motivation for UMU.  To be honest, it's refreshing.  The rivalry between Mount and UWW is nice to have.....for every Batman there needs to be a Joker.  Living in Columbus, it's been strange that Michigan has not brought the rivalry to the table with OSU over the past several years......the Bucks need that rivalry.  UMU needs UWW.  It makes you better.
