Raider 68

Seventies,

Found it, Hope Kyle hangs in there, but maybe another team would pick him up! :)

Kyle is listed on the 80 man roster on the Jags web site.

Spreads for week 1 have been posted.  Please note to get credit for the BW-Wooster game, I need those pics before the Thursday 7:00 EST kick-off.  The rest of the pics I need by noon Saturday.

Let's have some fun!

Thinking tonight about recruited QB's that LK changed to another position. The top three that come to mind are Jason Perkins, Randall Knapp and Cecil Shorts. I'm sure there are 40-50 others.

Anybody think we will ever see anybody break Perry Bourn's single game interception record from 1968 of 6 picks in one game against Franklin? Does anyone think a Mount team will break LK's 95 yard passing play record?

Just stating the obvious, but as long as the pass play remains legal and we have a 100 yard field, there is a possibility that both will someday be ecilpsed! After all, who ever thought Lou Gehrig's iron man record would ever be approached, let alone broken?  IMO, that INT record would be more difficult. . .you'd think the QB(s) playing Mount on that day the record was set would've stopped throwing in that guys direction after the 3rd or 4th pick, or just stopped throwing the ball entirely. Just wondering, how many total INT's did Perry Bourn finish that season with (or his career)?

I find easily offended people rather offensive!

Statistics are like bikinis; what they reveal is interesting, what they hide is essential.

Pat Coleman

We were told he declared for the draft. I am not aware of him having caught on anywhere.

I don't want to speak out of turn or to have inferred anything that wasn't intended, but when I talked with Otterbein during the preseason, I got the impression that Jones took part in a Pro Day or something similar (merely to test the waters and see where he stacked up) without anyone realizing that he was sacrificing his NCAA eligibility by doing so.

From there, he certainly could have decided to just go "all in" and declare for the draft.

2.7 seconds. An average football player may need more time to score; a great one finds a way. I've seen greatness happen.

Perry ended the season with 10 which is still tied for single season best. I'm just joking because with Larry Kehres calling the offense, ya think he is calling a long pass play from his own 4? Maybe not to protect his record, but because it doesn't make sense.

Both Larry and Perry were unusually good athletes in a period when Mount was not that great.
