Congrats to Cecil for getting his first professional TD last night in the preseason finale, finishing with 2 catches for 16 yards.  Kyle also had one grab for 10 yards.

I could be wrong, but I don't believe a TD in a pre-season game actually counts on a players professional resume.  However, it's nice that both of them were able to contribute.

It's one more NFL TD Reception that you or I have, be it pre-season or regular season.    ;)

What's your point? All I said is that in the official statistics of the NFL, a TD in the preseason (much like any accomplishment from a preseason game) isn't countable for season or career stats. So technically, he still has zero TD receptions in the NFL. Am I wrong? Not sure why you had to be so snippy in your comment.

In addition to those two exceptional athletes you had Dom Capers on that team and Coach Ron Lynn too. Not a bad collection of football talent and knowledge in one place. We all know of Dom's success in the NFL and Coach Lynn has been with many pro and college teams. He is currently in charge of player development at Stanford University. Not bad for good ol' MUC oops, I mean good ol' UMU. ;)

According to the Jags beat writers on twitter, Jacksonville has cut two of the TE ahead of Kyle on the latest depth chart.  That leaves four TE on the roster, have to wonder if they keep three or four?
