Thanks Dr.A and RC, for the updates on the Bein Bears game. What a contest! Entertaining reading on the ride to Alliance for our 7:00 match up. Congrats to both teams.

OTT scores to make it a 1 pt game and goes for the win.  The pass goes incomplete for the two-point attempt.

Final in Ada: ONU 34 - OTT 33

Possibly the best college football game I've seen...all invovled should be proud.....solid write up of game...

My audio cut out briefly, and when it came back, Ric and Mark were talking about a trick play.  What exactly did JC try?

Someone with football smarts will have to tell you. All I know is we believed JC indicated they would take a knee, I guess, then they attempted a pass...while mounts sideline headed to locker room. Fortunately, play was unsuccessful.  Some skirmishing going on with Bishop Carroll's boys. Fun!  28-7 at the half.

If Larry cares about my reputation as a spread maker, he'll quit scoring right now!   ;)

Thanks, Mr. Scott ... I had barely finished typing this!

UMU score update anyone???
Too loud in the restaurant (Hooters) to hear the game broadcast (no ear piece).
"Live Scoring Updates" locked up since half-time.  (Not so good in first half either.)
Repeated refresh and re-boots no help.
"Obituary Updates" may be more appropriate ... tell me the life of that possession/series from an hour ago!
Thanks!!!

Thank you!
No matter what approach I try ... laptop on Wi-Fi or iFone, it is still halftime, 28-7!

Kehresma

Sorry, my last two updates didn't post somehow. My phone and D3 site both experiencing freezes. We saw at least four or five solid running backs today, including a great show by Murray, and probably eight receivers. Defense forced fumbles and made three picks, I think it was. Obviously, the defense kept the ball in our hands, and contained the Streaks well.

A few thoughts on the Raider game:

1. RB  Jeremy Murray had the best game of his career, 200+ yards in the 1st half! and 254 total

2. Seaman was good tonight at QB, hit some key passes and looked confortable out there,

3. The second quarter the refs dropped more yellow than the highway line painters

4. JCU, IMHO, needs a new HC, but we all have been saying that for years.

5. The Raider defense forced some key turnovers.

6. Jasper Collins 3 tds and over 100 yds receiving, he is really coming on fast

After talking to a JCU player last night, I'm thinking I shoulda taken MU and given the points

OK, I think his comment, "We Suck" is deserving of this year's Mr Obvious award.

He also expressed a common thread that if they had Case Western's coach (JCU grad) they could of won the opener
