Nate Kmic didn't play till injuries made a spot available late in his freshman year. I really think that is all that needs said.
JCU should be glad we didn't add more fresh bodies

Larry knows he can trust his older players to not try to score if he says not to

I respected your first comments but the "keeping my mouth shut" wow I didn't attack your coaching or other players just a commend about keeping so many players!  If my son sucks than cut him!  And your right it is d3 which explains the your attitude. (small man attitude -it's not d1).

Rescueme- I think the problem mostly is that whatever valid issues you may have they are lost in the words you chose to use. There are two sides to every story- and I believe both sides should be heard- but you can't attack and then expect benefit of the doubt.
For instance- your comment of "this isn't D1" may provide insight into your struggles. Do you think the players/coaches on successful D3 programs think that way?  Work out that way? Play that way?

Hey Raider68, any doubts about the running game now. I realize it was John Carroll but still. I think if Larry had turned his two QB's loose it could have been over 100 points. It was fun to rewatch

That John Carroll team may be the worst OAC showing I've seen (outside of Wilmington) since the Marietta game where the clock never stopped in the second half. Sorry CWRU, that victory meant nothing

Seventies,

As I was watching J. Murray run. run and run, I was looking for you and thought what you would be thinking. I hope he continues, and exceeds last year!+k :) :) :)

As a parent, I'd just be thankful my kid wasn't wearing number 7 and playing for JCU. They have a right to talk.

If John Carroll is really as bad as you've stated, I will remain cautiously optimistic about the running game.

At least we didn't play NCCCA Campellvile, division 4 football at best. Anyway, Murray 2 games 379 yards, 40 attempts, 9.5 yd average. Coppage 3 games 348 yards, 54 attempts, 6.4 yard average

I wouldn't go there.
I find easily offended people rather offensive!

Yes, JCU is that bad.  Really looked like Wilma.  Right down to the "not trying" in 2nd half.  I realize that Mount can make some pretty good teams look weak, but that was ugly

I've enjoyed watching him run the last two weeks.  He looks like the real deal and I expect he will put up big numbers against Wilma.  If he continues to dominate at Northern, I'll be a believer.

I guess if Walsh or Malone ever wanted to play Mount we'd have a better measuring stick.

Grew up in Nebraska, NAIA land.

Wow! I don't read anything here for a couple of days and return to a boxing match. I have to agree with what RC said and he said it very well. With regards to the son and to his Dad...what are the son's goals for playing football at Mount and what is he willing to do to achieve those/that goal(s). Every kid that comes to Mount to play football should know what it will take just by looking at the history of the program. Since LK does not cut anyone he is basically giving all an opportunity, however small or large, to learn, improve and play. What that individual does with that opportunity is strictly up to him. Frankly I give a thumbs up, a tip of the hat and three cheers for every person that is associated with the program as they all make some type of sacrifice for the good of the team and University.
