The spreads are out on the OAC Pick-Em site.

I had three perfect players last week (Bobo, Chess4me, and Raider1).  Hopefully I'll give you more of a challenge this week.

The Three Amigo's? The Three Musketeers? Or the Three Stooges? I don't know, you make the call!!  ;)

Looks like the Pickem's will be a close encounter for the participants this year! :)

Hey Raider 68 - I didn't see you turn 1/2 of 1000 in the K column - here's another +k to jump start you toward your next 500!!

At least we didn't play NCCCA Campellvile, division 4 football at best. Anyway, Murray 2 games 379 yards, 40 attempts, 9.5 yd average. Coppage 3 games 348 yards, 54 attempts, 6.4 yard average

Wanna trade?

???????

Coppage for Murray? You can't be serious....I'll take Coppage over any RB in DIII. If you're not convinced watch the last two Stagg Bowls.

We play those who will play us.
Coppage has been good enough to score the game clinching touchdown in the past two Stagg Bowls.  I'll take that.

It's not like we played slouches either to start the year. Two of the three teams we played so far were ranked (NAIA or NCAA).

When did coppage transfer to oshkosh?

A couple titles and you would think wisconsin is the d3 mountain-top...oh well mount's been "done" before

The fact Wisconsin has the top rated DIII conference in the country year in and year out withstanding no one is claiming it to be the top of the mountain.  In fact any Wisconsin football fan with half a brain knows Mount Union is the gold standard of the D3 world and has a great deal of respect for their program.  But I won't sit idly by while seventies takes pot shots at our program for the problems we've had trying to fill our nonconference schedule.  Particularly when he doesn't have his facts straight.  I wouldn't be surprised if Campbellsville is every bit as good as Wilmington and/or Muskingum.

There is so much football yet to play before the comparisons begin. I for one, would wait until the top teams are closer to the point of wrapping up conference titles, then I will join in for the comparisons, but everyone is free take a side. :)

Nobody respects UWW more than me. Coppage is a fantastic back and Murray while having a great start to the season is not there yet. Jeremy certainly has the potential to be a great back in his own right but he needs to prove that week after week and against top competition to make that claim. Right now I would agree Coppage is probably the best back in D3.

It's always tough when you are a top team to be able to schedule quality completion in non-conference games. The number of teams that don't want to play you increases every year so you take what you can get. It would be great for Mount to have a local rival opponent each year to open the season like Wooster or Witt but that won't happen.

Your first mistake is reading any of 70's posts.  The second mistake was responding to him.  One more strike and you're out.
I find easily offended people rather offensive!

Statistics are like bikinis; what they reveal is interesting, what they hide is essential.

Some clarifications may be in order.
First, 70's and I were having a little fun ribbing each other. It was I that posted the "wanna trade" comment as of couse, I wanted to force 70's to be realistic (proving a tougher task than expected)-I mean, what could he possibly say?  Then he tried to give away receivers, as though UWW hasn't already proven we don't need no stinkin AA receivers to get er done.

Purplesuit- don't be fooled by my support of Oshkosh, I am UWW through and through. I simply believe Oshkosh is a pretty decent team and worthy of respect- especially in light of their performance vs top teams the last two years.

Emma,

for a minute I was thinking that you might have been a former teamate of mine that started his career at UWO and finished at UWW but I saw your email address and I am really doubting you are him (you weren't a QB were you?)... plus I have no idea how old you are.  ???

I was responding to emma's "trade" remark. So I have still have two strikes left  ;)

I guess if Walsh or Malone ever wanted to play Mount we'd have a better measuring stick.

Grew up in Nebraska, NAIA land.

How many years ago was that?  ;)

Nope, not a QB- but I know some good ones.  Began and ended at UWW 83-87.

Ok I was right behind you 88-92... (88-89 at UWO before I came to my senses)

It was a slow day anyway.

And it was still a more interesting read than page 2332 -- WORST PAGE EVER!   :P
