As I have paged through this OAC section, it is pretty cool how you guys get after each other in a relatively fun way.  I just popped in and the first thing I saw was the Seventiesraider posts.  Just thought it appeared on the juvenile side.  What UWW has done over the past 6 years is nothing short of amazing.  What MU has done over the last 15-20 years is so ridiculous, it will probably never be duplicated - on any level.  And I am in no way insinuating that the run is over.  Oh - and Emma17 does appear to be straight up genious!!

In a deliberate attempt to change the subject, looks like Coach Monty finally has "his" kinda team playing at Emory and Henry. Certainly wish him nothing but the best. (OK, now I'll get hammered by Schoal Train and the Bridgewater faithful)

Bridgewater faithful are in no position to hammer anyone at the moment, after they got waxed
37-6 by Ferrum two Saturdays ago. The same Ferrum team that lost 41-12 to E&H in week 1, I might add. And I know, it's the old score comparison drivel, but I'm just sayin'.

The OAC is really alive this past few days! Here is a question as we approach the middle of the regular
season:

Which Top 10 teams have the best shot at removing the teams (purple) from this year's
Stagg Bowl and why? :-\

Been here more than a decade and Heard and seen it all. Guess it's our turn to snipe at the annoying number #1 team. (and well aware how old it gets and how fast)

I'm guessing UST is going to make a run at the Stagg Bowl the next few years. I hate to say it but it's true:

$$$$ = Great Facilities = Great Recruits = Deep playoff runs.

CJ - 34
Badin - 17

I knew you'd have to question my "persuasion" and remind us of why you believe the internet was invented (D3football.com and porn) because your Badin Billy Goats lost this past Friday to a far nobler institution.

OK, thanks homo!!!!

BTW -- very discouraging seeing the size of the players and sheer numbers on our varsity now... I don't quite remember it that way when I was there..

And conversely one team it won't be is Bethel.  Over rated and too one dimensional to be a legit threat to the twin Purple Headed Monsters at the top of D3.  A solid Top 20 team, but nothing more than your average WIAC team.  Or B-W and ONU on a normal year.

And yes, I just called MTU and UWW shlongs on purpose.  Figured I better talk a language that SaintsFAN can understand.  FYI, I still think the "lady" friend is really Reality Check in high heels and a dress.....
I find easily offended people rather offensive!

Statistics are like bikinis; what they reveal is interesting, what they hide is essential.

+k for Ice for stepping up.

68- My initial reaction is to say that there is less chance this year than last year for one of the two to lose.  NCC isn't the same as last year, when IMO they were on the same level as Mt and UWW.  St. Thomas and MHB are both giving up more points than a national champion caliber team should.  I guess that leaves Linfield for me... or Oshkosh.

Which are also both not what they used to be. I've said it before and I'll say it again, it's a down year for everybody, except UWW and UMU and of course teams that are on the rise but not there yet. So what does this mean? IMO it means that one of hte other Top 10 teams needs to play a perfect, or almost perfect game and catch one of the purple powers flat.

Just a guy with nothing better to do.  Much like. . . . I don't know . . . . YOU?

Heyyyyy.....ICE (or goose..or maverick...or sidewinder...or whatever movie name you glossed yourself after)....

NICE!  It's totally AWESOME when we get a newbie....mouthy......internet tough guy to join in the fun.  Thanks for stopping by to share your obvious intelligence, and grasp on the English language.  Do you do birthday parties?  Bar mitvahs?

Love him or hate him, 70's is OUR poster to abuse, and no one else's.

Mount fans of all people know exactly how tough, good, strong, impressive (tell me when to stop UWW guys), and consistent the UWW football team has been over the last SIX years.  It's why we sorta kinda HATE them, but respect them just the same.  Well all but Emma......he is just a LOON!   ;) ;D

If you're including me speficially as part of the team, then you definately stopped too soon with the praise.  Smart, good looking, great sense of humor, top notch fisherman, seasoned beer drinker and usually RIGHT in my opinions about football.  i.e, ONU was way over-rated as a top 10 and Oshkosh deserved more credit from this board.  :P

Don't forget you have your own blog, too!!

First time that's been suggested. Think ya really gotta be doing something to be a saint in the Methodist church, (or give more money than I do).

Retired computer teacher. Would be willing to explain how easy it is to turn spellchecker on.

At this point, I think Mary Hardin-Baylor is actually looking stronger than Mount. (Did I really say that?)

Someone hijacked Seventies password.
I still believe Mt has the defense to stop MHB and most any other team, and enough offense that they are ranked where they deserve to be.  I do think teams are starting to close the gap on the top two, but the overall team balance that Mt and UWW have still separate them for now.
