BW up 20-14 over Ott at half.  Schlosser having a nice game thus far (18/24, 230, 2 TD).  Lohr has 55 yds and all 3 BW scores.

On behalf of Larry Kehres, and myself, let me just say:  Go Southeast Pirates.

BW holds Ott on downs in Jacket territory and runs out the clock.  27-21 final.  Lohr ends up w 123 yds.  O'Rourke seemed efficient (18/29, 230).  Schlosser tosses for 350 and Fairchild had 154 yds receiving and another long TD (68 yds).

Seems like the Cards had a little lapse in the second half where Schlosser was picked on the first series of 2 straight possessions.

Mogadore, Shmogadore.  Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor?

I am dreaming ... OSU up 27-6.

Sorry, 70s.  When you live in VA, 380 miles from OAC country, they are all away games.  And the wife is trying to sleep while I yell at the OSU-Nebraska game television.
Never underestimate the stimulation of eccentricity.

I'm watching, too, over the computer and Nebraska is really bad - I mean seriously not good!!

When NEB said they'd join the B10, I said YAY!  As long as they don't win the Divi in year one.  Like PSU

Scandal-boned BUCs doing OK tonight..

SUCKEYES-Nebraska is Bad? OSU is gonna start 0-4 in the conference. So I guess when WWW struggles in the first half they actually suck too

As I remember the last time we humbled the Pirates it was a girl FG kicker from Mogadore. Those of us Larry's age remember when they were good. Neither one of us remember them ever being great

I didn't say the Southeast Pirates were great.

I said "Go Southeast Pirates".

I don't what the student bases are now, but when I attended Southeast (back in the 16th century or so), the Mogadore band was probably bigger than Southeast's entire student body.

Apparently not as bad as OSU  ;) ;D

I will say, I do feel for Fickell (sp?). What a nightmare situation to walk into.

I think Scott makes a triumphant return to Mogy.

At the time I wrote that, OSU was punishing NU physically and on the scoreboard. If you were watching that game for the first 2 1/2 quarters, Nebraska had a date with the Bottom Ten, if they weren't already on it. Weird things happen, OSU stopped doing what got them out front - Nebraska looked like a completely different team. All started when the QB went down. A Blauserman (sp?) led OSU is what Wisconsin would look like w/o R.W., IMO.

I think Wisconsin's better than OSU, if you remove the QB part of the equation. But there's no question Russell Wilson took them from legit B1G contender to legit BCS title game contender. He's the unique dual threat QB who prefers to burn you through the air, which just makes his athleticism that much more dangerous.
