I thought some of the Mount faithful would get a kick out of this:

I guess we'll see a fired up bunch of Princes this Sat, we'll see how long that lasts

Clearly I think that Mike Hallet is one of the up and coming coaches in DIII. He has gotta make his young men feel they have a shot. I totally expect him to exploit some chinks in the Raiders armor as he and Dean Paul have in the past. Close game, probably not. Blowout, no way

Seventies,

What colors are you wearing for the game? 'Berg in the first half and Mount for the second half or alternate by quarter? ;D ;D ;D

Big Mike keeps saying he is going to see me in Red/Orange. I'm still waiting on that sideline jacket. Just saying.

As Coach Hallett says, against Mount, you're either beat before you get off the bus, or you're too jacked up and make a ton of mental mistakes....either way, you're down 28 by the end of the first quarter.

I'm looking forward to tomorrow's game....I think it will tell me whether HU will finish 6-4, 7-3 or 8-2.  The football team has created a buzz on campus usually reserved for HU Volleyball or Baseball.

Safe travels to all coming to Tiffin tomorrow.

There is some buzz on the Ohio State boards about QB Taylor Graham transferring to Wheaton to play football there. The talk is that his best friend and teammate plays there and a close family friend is a coach.

Wow, that would be something

I think that all who show in Tiffin are in for a treat. The stadium is as pretty as it is unusual. The campus promises to be busy so be there early and you might want to bring a lawn chair. The atmosphere is homey and warmer than it was at the old city dinosaur of a stadium.

Regardless of record The Battle for Columbus is a big deal to Otterbein and Capital.

Pregame story and game notes are in the link. Big game of pride and bragging rights. I have been a part of this since 1982, means a lot. Part of the beauty of sports. Always a reason to go play and get excited to have the unique opportunity to compete. GO CARDINALS !!

Weekly harassment to get your Pick-Ems in.

The late journalist (and member of the usage panel of The American Heritage Dictionary) Sydney J. Harris used to say that there is no "ass" in harass. According to him the proper pronunciation was very close to that of his surname.

I think the weather will have a hand in a couple of games today in the O.A.C.. you will need a good ground game if the wind doesn't calm down some.

B.W. jacket,

With a strong wind, which team ONU/B-W will be impacted the most? Nice helmet Pic! :)

I find easily offended people rather offensive!
