Another serious KO return for Benedictine. Man, it couldn't simply be the road whites that make all these BU guys look 10 feet tall, could it? Blair Skilliter is putting on a show today.

Kehresma

And that was BEFORE his latest td. Skilliters team 40, the tall guys 7.

Plague of toads, field conditions, and now they look too tall? Can't we just give them credit for being tall? ;D

47-7 with 6 rushing touchdowns.   "When I say Lingenfelter-Brill..." these radio ads are being etched on my brain!   :o

Let's practice long snaps this week.

Nothing to change my support of Piloto today

Agreed on both points. I didn't like seeing Piloto being the "change of pace" (if that is even the term I am looking for) guy for Seaman - but I like seeing Burke be that guy for Piloto. I liked what Piloto brought today and was very pleased with the early scores (FINALLY!). Now if Mount can just get some special teams work in....I know it's tough to be critical of a 40 point win - but mistakes were made that can be fixed. Nice win to start it all off though.

78% completion rate for MP today...not bad for a Junior, eh? Great defense but B had a few nice plays. Arthur Smith's pick 6 was the back breaker. Didn't understand the Eagles' play calling for much of the game...seemed conservative when you have nothing to lose.

Raider 68

Good 1st playoff win for the Raiders! As mentioned before, need to work on a few things. I thought we might see J. Collins, but apparently he is not ready. Wonder if and when he will be. Could see N. Seaman next week?  :)

Could be a real close game at Wabash next week!

Congrats to LK on tying Amos Alonzo Stagg for career wins. BTW Stagg was in his 90's when he retired

Congrats to raider-in-law, rams1102, seadog2, and wesleydat for taking the early lead in the OAC Playoff Pick-Em.

Sadly, Seventies and I are back where we belong.   :-[

Might not hurt to give Neil a snap or two if the knee is ready - just in case - but Matt has earned the starting spot IMHO.

Burke looks good running the ball, but I'd like to see him throw a couple.  If he would have to take over for Piloto he's going to need to throw it.

Roman Namdar was a surprise today.

when is the last time that Mount went into the playoffs with two frosh as backup QB's...word is they both are very strong, but Burke seems a better athlete....

raiderpa

what is with the NCAA waiting to name playoff sites until Sunday.  I know we Mounties are a very spoiled bunch, but what was the problem with higher seeds hosting.  That seems to make the most sense and is neatly packaged.  Next thing you know we will be re-bracketing after each round.
