HS Coach, thank you for your run down and input on the Benedictine team... I tend to agree with you on pretty much every point! Frankly, I am very surprised we made the post-season with Brown at QB, you mentioned that he was less then average and you are spot on.  Other few points of note, someone mentioned BU's linemen being out of shape lol... The Head Coach doesn't believe in conditioning, so yes they were/are definitely out of shape!  I find it so weird that this guy doesn't condition his players at least 3 days/wk... I understand maybe someone puling a muscle or something while conditioning, but it has to be done or your players will get worn out by the fourth quarter and they will be out of shape, which they are/were! Someone also mentioned that #11 is a FR, that is incorrect he is a SR and we will miss him as he was an impact player for us... All in all I am not that upset about that way our guys played against MT. they fought admirably for four quarters! They now know what it takes to play with one of the best teams in the nation and can use that as motivation going into the off-season! good luck MT.

Sorry I forgot to address the poster who commented on our kicking game... Our place-kicking game is AWFUL... that is why BU opted to go for it on 4th down and not try and kick a FG! #22 is actually just an athletic kid who plays DB for us, we really don't have a player who just place-kicks.  We missed an extra point or had one blocked every game this year! So hopefully that clarifies why we opted to go for it on 4th down.

In the "too much information" department, I really didn't need to know that Raiderguy and 70's both cross-dress and do most of their shopping at Victoria's Secret.  I think I just went blind from the mental image of that.
+++K me too!  Everyone have a great
Thanksgiving!

D3fan1515, Thanks for posting here and igniting d3 football conversation this past week. I was another one very impressed with WR #11, and I was astonished at the thought that he might be a freshman--I looked forward to following him in subsequent years--Maybe we still will.  (How tall IS he?  ;D.)

Thankful today that our out-of-state players are guests at Thanksgiving dinner in a variety of warm extended MU family homes. I am remembering my Mom, who (WAY BACK in the day when Allegheny College students only had Thursday off from classes) hosted a half dozen of our classmates around the table on Thanksgiving.  (Hey...why isn't Allegheny a university yet?  ???)

Happy Thanksgiving, friends!

Happy Thanksgiving to all my "little Internet friends"!

Boy, Centre College is really pumped about this game. I just checked their website for a feature on the game and they linked me to the Mount Union ticket site.  This level of excitement does not belong in the playoffs.  What a shame, and what a sorry statement, or lack thereof....

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
Same to you Ric and everyone else here.  As you have been more prevelent here in the past, your more frequent presence is missed.  Take care.
