I hope that everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving with their families today. With all the bad news we here, it seems that we really do forget to be thankful for all the things we have. I know my household is most thankful for and hold close to their hearts, all those men & women in uniform, away from home protecting our freedoms. We should all say a silent prayer for them and especially for their families that must be separated from their loved ones during this time. We will never be able to repay the debt we owe them, so let's support them with all we have to offer. It was really great to see both teams on the field for the playing of the National Anthem last week and I hope it continues!
God Bless America, our troops and each one of you!

In the "too much information" department, I really didn't need to know that Raiderguy and 70's both cross-dress and do most of their shopping at Victoria's Secret.  I think I just went blind from the mental image of that.

WOW! I thought you knew me better than that......   that reference was for the D. O. M. factor and nothing else. You can only do so much shopping at that place so if you need to sit down and simply rest a spell, what better location to view some eye candy and possibly a round or two of rating on the Clydesdale scale. It has nothing at all to do with personal use. Yech! Your eyesight can now be restored.

Centre College of Kentucky certainly has heard of the undefeated Purple Raiders.

 Looks like it will be perfect football weather in Alliance for the game. Hammer was set up by 7:30 and was serving hor'derves. Haven't seen any Kentuckians yet but the staff is expecting a good crowd.

But not even they [Mount Union] have a better playoff winning percentage than Centre (9-1), which defeated Hampden-Sydney 51-41 in its playoff debut Saturday.
Wow! 1-0 vs. 70-12. I guess thats one way to look at it.
And the Colonels say they don't intend to treat Mount Union any differently than any of their previous opponents.
"Its just another game for us. It's a big game, and it's on a big stage, but we've got to keep it mentally as just another game," linebacker Jared Ferguson said.
The football fan in me loves this kids attitude about the game. The Raider fan I am however would like to tell him that a whole bunch of teams have treated Mount "as just another game" only to realize it ain't - cuz Mount is not just another team. I hope for Centres fans that the team is not treating this like Washington & Lee, Austin, Hanover, Millsaps, Rhodes, etc.. Cuz if they are this one will be over by the end of 1st quarter.
