ER is a badass.....

At one game last year I actually heard him yell at the waterboy for not getting out there fast enough during a timeout.

He learned from the master.  If anyone has ever attended a Mount practice where LK decides he is "irritated".....PHEWWWW!

Burke was a warrior on Saturday.

This Coach/Mentor/Uncle vs Student/Asst/Nephew thing is huge isnt it?

I gather that Raeburn is one of Mount's favorite sons, eh?

He is....and seeing as how he coached with LK this summer over in Europe, and helped with the offense, it probably suffices to say that he has Mount's play book at his finger tips.   :o

Hmmmm.......NOT GOOD!

Knowing the plays and stopping the plays are two entirely different animals.  Vince Lombardi's "Packer sweep" comes to mind...

Point being, Mount Union will do what they do, and it will be up to Wabash to make them adjust.  Much easier said than done.

Why do I get the sense that Mr. Skunks is attempting Bill Simmons ole reverse-karma jinx.

Not to blow this up too much but the "skinny kid" remarks were a little over the top for me as well.  Hell, it's not like Burke is 5'6 135.  There are a lot of QB's that aren't huge.  I think Tyler is about 6'0 180 (listed on the roster at 6'1 172).  I think the poster could have made the same point without the "skinny kid" label - especially for what he pulled off on Saturday!

Wally - I laughed out loud on the "sumbitch" reference, that was awesome.  Spot on too bro.

BW-3's in Alliance went out of business apparently, is there another Wing place in the same location?

Can someone give us the write up on Mount's squad - who to watch, key players, etc.??

Also, "that skinny kid" was the toughest, most clutch sumbitch on any football field anywhere on Saturday.  If his number gets called on Saturday, he'll be ready.

Great performance.. hard not to root for him

Another cool story line of the up-coming game this weekend is that you have the #2 (MU - 698) and #6 (WC - 626) programs as far as wins in DIII.

Looking forward to visiting Alliance for the 1st time!

No wing specialty place in Alliance any more, although there is a place called the Blue Fig that does pretty well with their's.

As I do not have the NCAA records book available to me right at this moment, which program is the winningest in DIII, as I forgot?  Is it Wittenburg?  Interesting that schools like Mount Union and even Hope that had under .500 records in their histories up to the late 1960's/early 1970's, have changed that around in the last 3 decades.

Yes it is Witt,  707....Mount looks to be at 698 after Saturday.....I predict 2 or 3 more years and Mount will have that crown.

Close.  Raeburn is THE favorite son.
I find easily offended people rather offensive!

Practice, Practice....You talkin' about practice.....? (Couldn't resist) In last weeks game #30 got himself a personal foul penalty and was invited to the wood shed with LK on the sidelines.....You want to show off? Why don't you do something like sack the QB if you want to show off! That penalty kept a drive alive for Centre and LK questioned how he would feel if they had gone on to score on that series?
At last report he is still looking for his a$$ as of today! :D
WELCOME TO THE MACHINE!
