Belated thanks to the hospitable UMU supporters when I visited Alliance for the first round game.
Appreciate getting fed and being able to borrow cones until our tailgate group arrived.

I hope you all have a safe and enjoyable trip out here to Virginia.  Not sure I can get away from work and make the 4+ hour trek to watch, but I'll be pulling for a Raider win.  Cheers!

Friday night rain...49 with 70% chance of precip

wish my job had  sick days.... Less confident for UMU this year then ever before ,but then again I didn't think they would lose in 07. Enjoy the game Wesleydad, I appriciate your support for UMU and fear we'll see you next year...dang i been doin alot of posting considering it's been 5 years since i was last posting

Last year UWW had a great OL and DL, although this year it is very good. That was the real key for them along with Coppage. I was less optimistic then this year. This Raider team had to play through the injuries which greatly affected their offensive consistency. While UWW is favored, they really have not been challenged since they played UW-Osh. This game may really be closer than many think and the Raiders  have the capability to win it!

I wondered about that as well, however, I guess I refrained from posting it "out loud" here.  You guys obviously know him better than me.  I do hope he is doing okay - you know he does apparently have some health problems as he has shared that will us here in the past.

I can't really divulge what's going on because:

1. It's not my business
2. I have only heard one perspective

But I feel like I should let you know that Seventies is fine in terms of health.  I heard from him in email recently.

Goodness gracious, what in the world is going on in Raider Nation?? Of course I believe UW-W is going to win. I am their fan and I believe in them.  However, I find it absurd for anyone to think Mount wouldn't have a good chance to win.  I mean, the respect for UW-W is nice and all, but geez....  C'mon guys, these are the Purple Raiders we are talking about!  I have to spend enough time talking "otherwise rational" UW-W fans in off the ledge. Don't tell me I've got to talk you guys in, too!

I didn't expect anyone to share any personal information regarding seventies - I would never do that; rather I and the others were just concerned and hoped he was okay from a health standpoint.  It was just not like him to not post, especially around this typical time of the Stagg Bowl week and his own beloved Mount Union once again in the title game. Anyway, I'm glad to hear (as I'm sure the others are) that he is okay. As you mentioned, for whatever reason he has not posted, is his own personal business.  Thanks for sending us the info that he is okay.
