Raiders 45-28. It's Mount Union's offense that carries the day.

Lady and Gentlemen ... just a reminder that you have less than 22 hours to get your picks in.

If 70s is in hiding, please someone go tell him and/or Madeline to make their selections.

Since my son will not get out of school in time for us to drive the 4 hours to the game, we will be watching in the comfort of our Manassas, VA home.  [With champagne to celebrate the winners and comfort the losers.   ;)

May all those playing and all those traveling be safe.  And show the ignorant BCS what they are missing!

Mount +8.5

Good to have you back
I find easily offended people rather offensive!

Statistics are like bikinis; what they reveal is interesting, what they hide is essential.

skunks_sidekick

Heard some interesting info regarding the Purple Raiders.  Expect the unexpected.

This could be one of LK's greatest coaching years/games/championships.

I will be watching from home with Jr., Skunk, and possibly a few others.

Uno mas margarita por favor!   8-)

11 in 11.......book it.

wesleydad

skunks, will miss you this year.  still can't believe that I, along with mtfan are going to have to trumpet the raiders chances in this game.  hope they figure out how to play better defense or this could get ugly.

Not surprisingly, it looks like I'm out on the limb all by myself:

Hopefully I'm the one left holding the saw at the end of Friday night.

What am I, chopped liver?  :)

With all this speculation on the "unexpected" from Mount tomorrow, I came up with a guess. Put a #20 jersey on a certain RB coach and hand the ball off 40 times. Ballgame.

All honesty, I think Mount goes into the half after a stunning defensive performance up 14-3 and never look back, winning 28-17. Go Purple Raiders!!!

wish my job had  sick days.... Less confident for UMU this year then ever before ,but then again I didn't think they would lose in 07. Enjoy the game Wesleydad, I appriciate your support for UMU and fear we'll see you next year...dang i been doin alot of posting considering it's been 5 years since i was last posting

runk,

Last year UWW had a great OL and DL, although this year it is very good. That was the real key for them along with Coppage. I was less optimistic then this year. This Raider team had to play through the injuries which greatly affected their offensive consistency. While UWW is favored, they really have not been challenged since they played UW-Osh. This game may really be closer than many think and the Raiders  have the capability to win it! :)

Goodness gracious, what in the world is going on in Raider Nation?? Of course I believe UW-W is going to win. I am their fan and I believe in them.  However, I find it absurd for anyone to think Mount wouldn't have a good chance to win.  I mean, the respect for UW-W is nice and all, but geez....  C'mon guys, these are the Purple Raiders we are talking about!  I have to spend enough time talking "otherwise rational" UW-W fans in off the ledge. Don't tell me I've got to talk you guys in, too!
Bleedpurple.... I'm in a 1 story so you need not worry about the ledge. But I have loaded the pistol, SO.....   LOL ;)

From Salem:  Beautiful Thursday evening, temps in the 60's, no rain.  Friday I'm afraid won't be so nice.

Two guys from the ODAC checking into the hotel tonight said "We sure hope you guys win this year."  Local folks at Dick's Sporting Goods welcomed us home.  I only mention this because I've become accustomed to the locals pulling for that team from up North.  Karma is falling into place.

Whitewater has all the advantages.  There is no way they can lose.  They have no excuses.  We've got them just where we want them.

Go Raiders!  11 in '11!!!

PS:  My wife wants to know how much I've had to drink.  :) ;)
12-0 = 13

Hi BeenHit- Unlike last year, at least we have the ability to leave town!   ;)

Congrats on the oldest getting into Duke.  93% of athletes graduate there within 5 years ... should be proud.  UMU can't be far behind.

Good luck at the meet, tell Ms. Penny we said Hi!, and GO RAIDERS!
