Teams are even...great defenses, fumble at the one was the story of the game..Did a great job on Coppage,
Mount's defense was spectacular, story of season  offensive inconsistency..

Great coaching job by Kehres.  Turnovers were the the difference.
What the hell was that?  That was a Drop-kick.  Drop-kick? How much is that worth?  Three points.  THREE POINTS?!

Great Heart shown by Mount and a great effort.  I felt as though they were going to win.  Still, nothing to be ashamed of!

Argh!

It was like I was looking at mirror teams.

Congrats to both UMU and UWW.!  Twin sons of different mothers.

This is the way that championships should be determined!

Never underestimate the stimulation of eccentricity.

UMU's quarterback problem ain't subtle and it's sticking around for a while. Y'all hafta find someone new. Ew.

skunks_sidekick

It's early after the game, and the frustration is high....butttttt......I kept TELLING folks I had my doubts about Piloto in the big games, where the other team could bring pressure.

Mount's defense (and of COURSE UWW's) was tough as nails all night.  If I were them I would kick all the offensive players arses.

If I hear again about how the weather in Salem is "good", "not bad", or "better than Ohio" I will just puke.

Still doesn't mean the game should move, Skunks.

Of course it does. Weather should not dictate the outcome of a game. I don't think it did here, though. Rain, snow, rain.

This is football. You play in the weather.

After a game like that, many thoughts to come in the offseason:

1. The Raiders put themselves in a position to win, but a TO on the 1 yard line proven to be the difference.

2. The Defense was great and kept the game within reach.

3. While many thought UWW would run away with, it did not happen.

4. In the end UWW wins a 3-peat, give them credit.

5. Mount returns 14 starters next year, so they can get there again, we'll see! :)

Still waiting for you to make a point.....

The point is that weather is no excuse. Players decide the game.
